This office has had some bad reviews based on the way someone feels about the staffs appearance. They weren’t happy with tattoos not being covered up along with some other things as far as how the staff was dressed. My personal opinion is I don’t care how many tattoos they have or if they’re in jeans and T-shirts as long as I am being taken care of. Every individual employee in this office that I have come in contact with has been amazing at making me feel comfortable and answering any questions or concerns that I may have. Dr. chanamalu is an amazing doctor and has treated me very well and is very thorough every time I come in for a check up. He’s usually in the room with me for an hour or just over doing his best to make sure everything is addressed and a treatment plan is put in place. His bedside manner is awesome and he’s always treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. If you are looking for a lung doctor local to lima Ohio I would highly recommend you contacting this office!
This office is a POS... I was scheduled out over a month for an appt. Then they call me the day before to talk me to bring a download of my sleep study giving me no time to get it. I show up for my appt. And the lady says they have no way to get the information off the chip. THIS IS WHAT U DO FOR A LIVING .....then she has the nerve to ask if I want to still see the doctor..with no information to give him but STILL TAKE MY MONEY....UN REAL !!!
This doctor is rude and obnoxious. He NEVER even checks me at all. Just sits at the keyboard and types. He BARELY speaks English and calls overweight patients "FAT". His office staff is rude as well. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!! He is a money hungry thief!!!!
No communication. No compassion. Long waits in between appointments, with little to nothing getting done. I highly do not recommend.
No communication, no compassion. Long wait in between appts, with little to nothing done. Doctor is rude, staff is not knowledgeable.waited a month and half and still waiting on a simple blood test. My advice, don't go, find a different doctor!
First impression, not good. Saw patient in hospital. Rushed through checkup, didn’t explain a thing, simply said patient needs oxygen. Quite baffling... I’m sure he (and all the Dr.s and Nurses) was swamped but appeared to be too busy to be bothered.

I find him to be very rude an condescending especially towards women. He answers his phone when in the room with you an he is very hard to understand.
The doctor gets 4.5 stars. He is a great doctor. The reason for 2 stars is the office. They have several women working, wearing jeans and T shirts. The pinnacle of disrespect (looks like trash) is women with tattoos on their arms. The level of unprofessional dress for the cost of the service is ridiculous. Before the doctor was moved from the sleep center, everyone dressed professionally and acted very professional. This new level of low-life, tribal marked insanity is beyond the pale. Just 15 years ago, anyone knew if they wanted to be in a public field of any sort, yet ink themselves like neanderthals, the markings had to be covered.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
