David Aichholz's Online Review Report Card

I went to Seven Hills with the goal of seeing a midwife but was told I had to see Dr. Aicholtz first and I am glad I did.It was clear during one conversation with Dr. Aicholtz that he views birth as a medical procedure rather than focusing on physiological birth. Do not mention the idea of natural birth or home birth, when I did I was told “if you choose to have a home birth you will be risking unnecessary death to your baby”.Comments like this are not helpful when a person is searching for a supportive provider, especially when the person coming in is highly aware of the intentions of many providers and the cascading effect of interventions in healthcare settings.I switched to the Women's Health and Wellness Center who has an amazing natural birthing center and supportive midwives, I couldn’t be happier with my current birth team!

I love this Doctor and his office staff!. They treat you with the utmost respect and like a family member. Dr Aicholz has the best bedside manner I have seen, he doesn't scold unnecessarily but he will tell you like it is regarding your health.My partner was delivered by him when he was a resident and we've had the opportunity for him to do the same for our child... Would not choose anyone else.

Always a great experience with Dr Aichholz and team. From the phone call, the receptionist, the nurses and Dr himself. He takes the time to listen and explain his rationale. He even calls himself to go over tests and return concerned calls. I highly recommend this team from pre-birth through birth and beyond!

Dr. Aichholz is fabulous!! He helped me in many different obgyn needs. Before, during and after a miscarriage, during the successful pregnancy of my daughter, and then with my IUD implant after the birth of my daughter as we want to wait at least a few years before more children! Amazing office staff and everyone is very warm and comforting!

I went to Dr. Aichholz to inquire about switching forms of birth control. I am currently on the pill and I do not like it (how I feel on it and having to remember to take it everyday). I told him I was thinking about an IUD or the arm implant and he refused and shamed me for mentioning this. He said he would only prescribe me a new pill, which I did NOT want. He told me I needed to grow up and learn how to remember to take a pill everyday. He then said my only other option was the Nuva Ring which I said no to because I didn't want to put it in and take it out myself, and he says "well it's just like taking out a tampon," because he knows what that is like?! He couldn't even look me in the eye and argued with me the whole time. Do NOT go to him. And here's the kicker: I had to wait 1 hour to see him. My appointment was at 10 am and he did not greet me until 11 am and I drove 40 minutes to Mason to see him.

I literally cannot say enough great things about Dr. Aichholz and his staff! To be honest, I chose him at random and surprise! Found out I was having twins at our first visit. He was so wonderful and supportive during the process. He is honest and very to the point. For someone that struggles with anxiety I appreciated him not sugar coating issues so that I felt prepared. He took his time with every single appointment, even postpartum when I had my fair share of struggles. When I would call with a question, he always personally called me back. This is basically unheard of. His front office staff was so friendly and caring, took their time, always asked me how I was doing in a way like they actually cared, not just because it was their job. Bottom line, if you are looking for exceptional care from an OBGYN, go see Dr. Aichholz!!

Dr. Aichholz has been my gyno for many years. He is very knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend him for anyone. His staff are always friendly.

My favorite OB practice! Staff is super nice and providers (OB and midwife!) are awesome, will be delivering a second baby with them this spring.

I'm blown away at the comments abt the eye contact! Get educated people! Just being streetsmart can make you obvious to the fact he has an eye condition! He's absolutely amazing and as for the iud maybe you aren't sutited for it I know 5 people who have one from him at his suggestion!!! He delivered my niece and my son..
