Terrible experience with this so called Dr! She literally LAUGHED MANIACALLY at my son when I told her his scalp was hurting and he was losing his hair at 12 years old! My son is also special needs! She would not give us a referral to a dermatologist or scalp specialist either! When I left I said I guess I will have to take him to specialist myself then. She laughed and said *go ahead, they won't find anything". Well, we never did go because we had no referral and the out of pocket expense was way out of my price range. He eventually lost all of his hair on top. This lady is very unprofessional and should not be in a profession with this attitude and especially with her obvious prejudice against those with special needs. Minus zero stars
She is an excellent doctor. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to really listen and understand your needs.
My family doctor retired, and she was available for new patients. I felt she listened very well, and I felt very at ease.
(Please take this with a large grain of salt as this was written during the COVID-19 crisis.) For Dr. H. I would say it is important to become your own patient advocate. This means questioning everything with the utmost respect. Challenge what you feel isn't right for you. Use patience, as most doctors and other healthcare workers are doing the best they can based on what they see - in a very short slice of time. No one knows you, better than you. Keep a notebook with a list of your meds, OTC, and supplements; include a list of your other healthcare providers; and anything else medical related. Take time Before your appointment to write down what you need to address, even if you think it's not that important. Write it down. Make a bullet list. The doctors only see a tiny sliver of your life. They need information to make better informed decisions. If your doctor is not interested in hearing your concerns then find another one. There are LOTS of good, caring physicians and healthcare workers. I worked for one of the largest medical defense law firms in a southern state and I can honestly say there are far more good, caring healthcare workers than not. This doctor has accused me of selling my medication on the street and a second accusation I won't detail. I'm a man who does not drink, smoke, use fowl language, eat unhealthy, and most of all try to honor G_d in all that I do, think, and speak. This has been a good opportunity to practice forgiveness. I honestly think all doctors are on high alert for the misuse of prescription medications. And for good reason. So I want someone as bold as Dr. H. to risk slander and get in-my-face to make sure I am not another statistic. I think this doctor is incredibly knowledgeable but above that she is wise. I plan to continue as a patient and would recommend her to almost anyone. I hope this has been helpful.
I was not told when scheduling my appointment 3 months out that Dr. H does not prescribe birth control, which was one of the reasons for my visit. Another reason was a painful recurring boil. She said try a warm compress until I could get in to see another doctor. So, her solution for both was to send me to another physician, waisting both my time and money. When asked if insurance would cover another doctor visit she made a belittling joke that she wished she could accept tomatoes as payment.
Dr H was intelligent, clear, attentive for my visits. A great family doctor. Nice comfortable facility. Good follow-up.
After a long search for a good pro-life PCP, I came across Dr. H and could not be more pleased! She clearly has a passion for medicine; she is very thorough in her research; she explains things well and has an excellent bedside manner. She truly seems to care about her patients and I trust her advice on any medical issues. She is familiar with NFP and very compassionate. I would totally recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a good primary care doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
