Robert Graydon Bradley Md's Online Review Report Card

My partial colectomy in 2011 resulted in a severed ureter. A urologist was called in to perform an emergency repair by implanting a stent. The surgery ended up lasting 4-5 hours. While recovering in the hospital, I was diagnosed with a Pseudomonas infection, resulting in the insertion of a PICC line. My total hospital stay was 15 days, and I ended up going home with the PICC line, IV antibiotics, and a catheter. I nearly died on the operating table, and then again from the infection a week later. Despite being in the hospital 15 days, I saw Dr. Bradley only one more time there. A resurgence of the infection occurred two weeks later, with another 7-day hospital stay and another surgery. I saw Dr. Bradley only one more time for a follow-up visit. It was later determined (by a different doctor) that the sutures in my skin were sewn to the muscle layer, so I ended up having a third (minor) surgery to fix that.

A year ago last October I had a hernia repair done by Dr Bradley. I just had the same hernia repair done AGAIN this past July by a different Doctor, just saying !!

I absolutely love Dr Bradley. I referred my dad to him as well. Ihe is one of the best Drs I've seen yet. And I will continue to see him and refer friends and family to him.. great work doc??

He just did my gallbladder surgery yesterday and I am so happy. I could care less about the incisions and where they were placed. I am just thrilled that it got done. He was so kind and well mannered along with everyone else that took care of me.

Technically he did remove my gallbladder, but it seems without much regard for how it was done. One incision was 3 times larger than I was told it would be and its leaving an ugly, uneven scar. The absorbadble suture that should have been under the skin, made its way to the surface. Bruisng has lasted 3+ weeks with no sign of fading/healing. Stabbing pain when I take a deep breath. Chipped front tooth from being intubated. Based on everything I see and feel, I imagine the inside of me is equally as messed up. But in Dr. Bradley's eyes this is all normal and I should be happy that my gallbladder is out. I disagree and am very disappointed in this experience.

Dr. Bradley might technically 'get the job done', but just expect it will be sloppy. If you care more that something gets done fast than how it gets done, he's probably the surgeon for you! In my preop appointment, I was told to expect 4 - half inch incisions for laproscopic surgey and that scaring would be so minimal I wouldn't even notice them. I ended up with one that was nearly 2 inches long above, rather than inside, my navel. He told me it was necessary because my gallbladder was so inflamed, BUT the incision was made BEFORE he ever saw my gallbladder. Also, nothing about my case had changed between preop and the day of surgery so no idea why his plans changed last minute (and he didn't tell me) other than it made HIS life easier. When asked why the huge incision wasn't hidden in my navel, he sited higher risk of infection. But if you google it, you can find multiple studies that show the rate of infection is not statistically significant. So consider yourself warned.

Dr Robert Bradley was a horrible surgeon! He removed my daughters gallbladder and didn't clip it correctly and she filled up with bile. Then he conveniently went on vacation while she was in Icu. It's been 7 months and my 23 yr old daughter is still having complications. I would NEVER REFER ANYONE TO SEE HIM EVER !!!!!

As a surgeon he is very good. As a follow up doctor? Fifty plus minute wait to be seen?
