Rajnikant Kothari's Online Review Report Card

Went here for 6 appointments and was not told till the 6th appointment that there was a copay. They then try to force me to pay saying that the insurance card should state a copay which it didn’t. Not to mention that the front desk failed to inform and found it okay to leave a sticky note for the counselor to notify again during the 6th appointment. If I were properly informed I would never confirmed that appointment, so instead I was entrapped into paying for that appointment as well. They let 6 appointments stack before notifying and when I informed them that this is not permitted behavior from a medical office they continued to place blame on me. After stating I will never return and stating that it’s a failure to notifying they just continued to dismiss the issue and act as if they were above the law. They have forwarded this to collections in which again is due to their failure to notify. In my opinion this and any other associated offices should be shut down and barred from any future service. I had filed a BBB claim against them when the original issue surfaced. I would not ever recommend a single person to this business and I hope they get shut down. The best part is any BBB complaints that get filed are magically removed. In fact upon checking they no longer even exist on the BBB site. This is a shady office with questionable morales all while still operating with no remorse. Judging by the amount of 1star reviews I believe this is a bigger issue than just open person and the entire company needs investigated.

If it was possible to give zero star's I would have. The doctor was very unprofessional, he did not seem to care about my health or well-being. he is definitely way Beyond his years and needs to retire. At one of my visits he had the audacity of doing my treatment in the waiting room and repeated this a second time. He did not listen to anything I had to say. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Mode of business and front office is horribly run. Doctor is a nice man who honestly wants to help but unfortunately the profession had changed and his old time views have not. He earned his degree while the Beatles were still together in the 60’s but Time gets us all unfortunately

I really like this doctor. I’ve had a few different psychiatrists in my adult life and Kothari is definitely the best. He is direct and kind, and doesn’t waste my time asking a ton of questions he doesn’t care about. He listens to me and is understanding. I’d highly recommend him.

I've been seeing him for over a year now. He's a great doctor and actually helped me when other doctors wouldn't.

My husband has been to this doctor for an ongoing issue, multiple times and am fed up with the lack of care and concern. This doctor should be investigated. A school nurse would offer more care!

Dr Kothari is a very kind man and he cares about his patients. People say he does not have a good bedside manner but I think they just don’t like that he does not give them whatever they think they want. He has the knowledge and the experience so I have trusted him completely and you can, too. Just don’t think you can go in and tell him what to do.

You’ll wait too long in a broken down waiting room with torn stained carpet, lights burnt out, cobwebs on lamps, chipped paint on the walls and chairs made in the 60’s. They’ll call you back to a Buddhist psychiatrist who barely speaks English and won’t remember your name. My sister referred me and when I said her name he asked me to repeat it and still had no idea who I was talking about. He’ll read over a brief description you’ll submit that vaguely describes your history and struggles and in 10 minutes he knows who you are and diagnoses you with whatever demands the highest insurance billing he can submit I imagine. The Buddhist Dr.House without the genius. Then he’ll throw random psych meds at you guaranteed to make you a zombie in 2 to 6 weeks. He will not listen. He does not want to know you. He does not care what you think may or may not work to help stabilize your suffering or illness. He’ll ask if you want to set up counseling so you can complain for an hour while they stare

That part in the Joker and his obvious belief in karma...you get what you deserve doc. Mental health treatment is miserable in this town, it should be a collaborative effort to stabilize and manage your condition. Do not go here. This is a doctor that steps over his patients as they lay on the torn stained carpet in his waiting room...dying.

I worked with Dr. Kothari for several years. He is a very caring psychiatrist who keeps the patients needs as primary focus. He takes his time to listen to his patients, is kind, and very knowledgeable.
