As I read some of these reviews..I've noticed that some of the negative ones are as far back when it was Promedica St Luke's or during their transition leaving them..not counting the pandemic of course when everything was in a real tragic mess. No hospital is perfect but I choose McLaren. St Luke's for all of my healthcare needs.

Went in for blocked bowel had an NG tube placed and was observed for the night. The next day my diet was suppose to transition from clear to solids and if I was able to hold solids I would be discharged. However this information didn’t seem to make it from the doctor to admin/nurses until after the latest discharge time. My insurance and I were billed for the extra night. Good luck finding anyone to listen. Not sure if a simple mistake (which they can easily correct) or a way to squeeze a little more money out of a patient. Go somewhere else, not saying it couldn’t happen somewhere else, but for sure it happened here and no one has contacted me about this.

Took a loved one to the ER— He was quickly taken back to the ER and the nurse came in to see him timely. Once the nurse completed her initial assessment, we did not see a physician for almost 4 hours. We saw the physician one time for him to not return to the room for another 2 hours. Very disappointed in the care that we received.

I had appointment with Kenneth Power - probably the best Doctor in Ohio. He gave me a lot of great advices and made a proper diagnosis. He is the best specialist with a great attitude and sense of humor. Lady at the reception was really nice as well. The best medical experience ever.

I've had nothing but excellent service and friendly help. Recently visited Heart Center, Rehab, blood withdrawn and found nothing but PROFESSIONAL help and very satisifed service needed. Also my appointments are kept on schedule. I've only witnessed professionalization through out my visits.Ann Bolyard
