I am a new patient, this was my first appointment with Dr. Mason. I was very impressed and looking forward to getting to know her better. Very good experience!

I stopped going to her for multiple reasons. I believe she is prejudice against woman that are bigger. I have RA and need a knee replacement. She asked me several times to scooch forward. I physically could not bend my knee more. She audibly sighed in irritation when I couldn't do what she wanted. In addition to that there I am vagina out, legs up and in comes a student. I was not asked permission for them to come in. Even my Rheumatologist asks permission and I'm fully clothed for that! Next thing I know said student has their face in my vagina looking at cysts on my ovaries. She clearly doesn't respect her patience privacy or feelings. Lastly while I was in labor she was the on call Dr. They made the call I was ready to push and she didn't show up for almost 2 hours. I won't even get into all of that.

With Dr Mason, I finally was able to get a doctor to listen to my concerns and help me navigate this problem with respect and dignity- she trusted I knew what was going on in my own body. Surgery experience was wonderful start to finish and she was able to spare organs another doctor confirmed he HAD to take out. I wish I would have found her months ago!
