Dr Duckett preformed my colonoscopy my first with him, much better then my previous 2 with another physician. He was thorough with his questions at his office for pre exam. He preformed a quick and efficient colonoscopy with a great outcome.

I had a thyroid biopsy in which he did not use any anesthetic. At one point he said “I need a larger needle” and I said can you please numb me this is extremely painful and he said no. When he stepped aside, a nurse whispered to me “I’m so sorry! This is barbaric! None of us nurses respect this guy, this is just how he is.” There are many better surgeons in Toledo. I do not recommend him.

The doc and his nurse give text book solutions then get extremely angry when the patient states that didn't work. The entire reason the appointment was made was for help NOT to be ridiculed more than ever. The RN then proceeded to twist patient's words to fit her explanations (recordings were made). They do not comprehend that there are other surgeons or Medicare/Medicaid does pay for second opinions.

I believe Dr Duckett is the reason my mom died. He perforated her bowel while taking her gallbladder out. He nicked her common bile duct after going back in to fix the bowel. After 21 days in St Luke's she died. She should have had her gallbladder out and gone home😥

We have been in Toledo for 60 plus years with lots of medical experience. Dr. Duckett and his staff are at the top of being compassionate, knowledgeable, reliable and with wonderful surgical results. We would highly recommend him to everyone! Thanks you Dr. Duckett and your team for a wonderfully positive experience and to St. Luke's too and their staff! Mike C.

I came in thru emergency and had no opportunity to research doctors. Dr Ducket was on call, he was compassionate, and took my wishes into account. I owe my life to Dr. Ducket and my recovery has been fast and with out incident.

Please, do not take anyone you love to Dr. Duckett or Dr. White. They caused my mother so many serious health problems. Not to mention much pain and suffering and they even ignored an infection after surgery for 10+ days until the nurses begged them to care.

Went in for an appendix removal.... left hospital in as much pain as when I came into the hospital. After going home, I could not go to work... I was in pain and couldn't eat more than nibbles of food. Talked to him about it during my follow-up appt and he dismissed it as normal. Called back the following day still in pain and they had me come in... same story, normal. Finally a few days later, I started vomiting fecal matter. Their office prescribed me an anti-nausea pill. After it happened again, I went to Toledo Hospital where I stayed for over a week dealing with the issues caused by my laproscopic operation. He was ineffective as a surgeon and did not listen to the patient who was clearly having issues. Stay far, far away...
