Have been going here for years. Doctor is great and love the staff
New to this doctor and was lied to off jump don't go here at all the staff don't answer phone calls
Firstly I'd like to start off by saying that this facility has provided quality care and great service, that is, in terms of the doctors and nurses. The front desk; not so much, and unfortunately my bad experiences with the front desk outweigh the good one's I've had dealing with the doctors and nurses. I've had numerous unpleasant experiences while speaking to the receptionist named Angela. She very frequently has an attitude and is rude over the phone when calling to get prescriptions refilled, or when scheduling appointments or tests. I called to schedule a covid test today due to my symptoms and me frequently being around older family members who are more vulnerable, and she suggested I go to urgent care to get tested for covid and strep. I told her that I would rather just get a covid test so I can know if I need to quarantine or not and to avoid a copay. She then said that if there are vulnerable people in my life I should also get tested for strep. I again voiced that I wasn't very concerned with strep due to the death rate being lower than covid, and she replies "well thats not necessarily true. I'm not going to argue with you but if people get strep and it goes to the heart, they'll die". While this is true (endocarditis can be caused by streptococcus bacteria), this is no way to speak to someone who just wants to have a simple covid test done, but it is also irrelevant and completely unprofessional to tell that to a patient. What she is referring to is very uncommon and doesn't happen in the majority of strep cases; endocarditis caused by strep throat is an anomaly. I do believe she only said this because I said I wasnt as concerned about strep as I am covid. If strep were comparable to covid in terms of how deadly it was, wouldn't we be also be quarantining when we get strep? Apologies for my digression, back to the point: I am very familiar with this type of heart infection, as my father nearly died from endocarditis caused by streptococcus/staphylococcus (from a spider bite, not strep throat) 8 years ago, which I told her. Again, her response was "I'm not going to argue with you." After that point she said she put in a request for a covid test, and then I asked for her name so I could make sure it was the same rude woman I had dealt with on numerous other occasions. She seemed reluctant to give me her name, which is totally understandable after treating someone like that over a simple test, but she did tell me. I said thanks for your help, she replied "uh huh, sure" and then she hung up. What a freakin' joke! I would not recommend this office to anyone, simply because I would never wish for someone to have to deal with what I have dealt with in terms of unnecessary stress and attitude dealing with the receptionist. If you do decide to go to this doctors office for care, tread very lightly around the receptionist Angela and don't try and one-up her medical prowess.
I have always been so nervous, really nervous, about visiting any dentist. As soon as I started going to McComb Dentistry that began to slowly change. They make u feel like you're the only patient. They are friendly, fun (yes I said fun), and very good. The do not try to do more then necessary. I would recommend them to anybody.
I've been a patient for close to ten years and I couldn't be happier. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
