Meghan Foote's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to Meghan Foote for YEARS! I can not imagine going to anyone else. She always takes extra time with me. I have never felt rushed and have always felt confident and comfortable to ask her anything without embarrassment or judgement. I appreciate her humor and her true dedication to women's health. There need to be more Meghan Foote's in our world!

I've been going to Dr. Foote since moving to the area 7 years ago and she is wonderful. She genuinely listens and pays attention. She never makes me feel rushed and, as a woman and mother herself, is very relatable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her.

This doctor lacks sympathy and decorum. Told me my craving of chocolate milk while pregnant was "really disgusting" (yes she said it like that) like I just told her I'm craving pigs blood. Made me feel very self conscious like anyone can pick their cravings and kept judging everything I said. Also, If I'm wrong about something, I should be told in an informative manner, not be judged for something I felt I had to do because the office is lacking when it comes to actually getting ahold of for advice, or even getting an appointment for that matter! IF you can even get ahold of them to make one. I like an honest doctor but this wasn't honest it was rude. Everything I said I liked to have during pregnancy was judged in a rude manner. Her preferences are different than other peoples and she should keep that in mind, especially when she works with pregnant women with different cravings. Not to mention telling me that she tells her patients to "keep their mouths shut" (yes, that's exactly how she said it) about their baby till after the first trimester because there COULD be complications. Excuse me?! If I was excited about my baby and didn't want to treat them like a dirty secret and didn't care if I had to tell people I lost it because I was proud to have been pregnant at all, thats MY business! You don't tell parents that, it's not your decision. I was pretty shocked and appalled after my last encounter with her. I usually don't have her but they squeezed me in and she was the one available. Next time I'll just wait longer for another doctor in that practice.

Dr Foote took so much time with me in the office. She really fully understands pregnancy and makes you feel like your not alone! I feel so lucky to be able to have her as a dr.

Dr. Foote was my reg. dr, and was always so easy to talk to about any topic. She makes you feel like you're with a friend and no judgment. I lucked out that she was the dr on-call for my first delivery. She actually had me laughing during labor/pushing. She made me very comfortable and more importantly feel safe in her care. She is the type that can handle an emergency with a calmness as if it is just routine. My daughter was born perfect in no small part thanks to her and her team!

I recently selected Dr Foote as my obgyn. She is very knowledgeable and helped find a treatment for the severe cramps I was having during my menstrual cycle.
