List of Yatish Goyal's Reviews
Been a patient for 1-1/2 years. No bad reports at all. Office staff is efficient and pleasant. Dr. Goyal seem cold, but is not at all. He absorbs the notes and my comments, and pays attention, does not forget. Pushed me into getting a biopsy I had been delaying. Good thing, too, as cancer was found.
I moved to Medina and found Dr Goyal in the phone book. That was 20 years ago and he is still my doctor. I can always count on Dr Goyal and his staff for all my medical needs.
Always takes extra time to make you feel like you matter. Very pleasant. Always pleasant Best care. I Have referred several people.
Dr. Goyal is one of the best doctors I have came in contact with. He is definitely amazing and caring.
Dr Goyal stands head and shoulders above all other primary physicians I've received treatment from. He is everything a patient hopes to find. He is thorough in his diagnosis and treatment, gentle in his manner, knowledgeable, and willing to suggest a second opinion when he feels it necessary. To me these qualities equal integrity and compassion. In addition I have never felt rushed. When I asked him once why that was so he replied, "If someone needs 5 minutes I give them 5 minutes but if someone needs more time than I give them more time". Oh - by the way he has a wonderful staff. (Of course!)
excellent physician with great bed side manners... always takes time to listen and explain. I have been seeing him for more then 15years now.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Dr. Goyal "cared" for my husband for almost five years in a nursing home. Yet he could never find the time to contact me. My husband was in the hospital a couple months ago and Dr. Goyal rounded on him and still no contact. I would give the nursing home five stars but I am just now learning how horrible Dr. Goyal is. My husband passed and Dr. Goyal signed the death certificate. He put a disease in the cause of death that my husband didn't even have! Now I wonder if he ever even opened my husbands chart! Luckily, I caught it and got one of my husband's other doctors to agree to correct it before the certificate was filed. The best part. Dr. Goyal couldn't even find time to contact me about the error he made!

Regrettably this doctor's communication skills are severely lacking. Being in the medical field myself, I realize the importance of communicating lab results, updating on treatments and showing concern for my patients. My grandmother was admitted to the Cleveland clinic in Medina for one week and was discharged on 05/17/19. She was also seen by a cardiologist and Dr. Goyal was the physician in charge of her case. At no time did anyone in my family receive a call from any of the doctors and whenever we tried getting the results of lab work or the echocardiogram etc. we were told by the nurses that we would be contacted by the doctors. We never heard from any of them and the nurses couldn't tell us their hours because they were always in and out. The one time they did tell us my mom when to talk to the doctor and he never showed up. Then when she was discharged no one went over the discharge instructions at all. The nurse practitioner Herman L Funk under directions from Dr. Goyal printed the discharge instructions and discharged my grandmother with no one ever going over the instructions or informing us about any of the results. I read the discharge instructions on my own and noted some alarming things (like an antibiotic resistant infection and an unconverted atrial fibrillation that needed to be addressed later etc.) It was also noted that she was starting a new medication Apixaban (eliquis) even though this was not a new medication but one she had already been on. Then when I called Dr. Goyal's office and asked the receptionist if I could talk to Dr. Goyal about the case I was told to leave my information and that he would call me back. To this day he has not called back. I was told by the Cleveland Clinic that the discharge instructions were given to the nursing facility but when I discussed it with the head nurse at the facility, there were serious gaps of information. I had to be the one to point out that she had to have a consultation a week after being released with her primary care physician or cardiologist (information that I read to them and that they were not told). I am debating about filing a formal complaint with the Medical board since this type of patient treatment/lack of communication is unacceptable. If I had not had my medical knowledge, navigating the discharge instructions would have been very difficult. I hope that other patients and families don't go through this same ordeal.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
