List of Pearle Vision's Reviews
My experience was very positive from my eye exam to choosing my glasses. The new space is spacious and clean. Every employee was kind, professional and efficient. I was given a time window of three weeks to receive my new glasses and was called to pick them up 3 days later.
This used to be Eye-Mart. I went for an exam expecting a similar exam to what I've had in the past. I paid more money and they did less in the exam than I'm used to. I don't know if my prescription is correct now or not. They didn't have my old prescription to compare it to because they are on a new computer system. I felt rushed through the exam. Afterwards, it took forever for them to find someone to check me out and take my payment.
I was put in an interesting situation this past weekend after loosing my glasses. I needed my prescription from my doctor, which unfortunately left another practice, for the miamisburg location Pearle Vision. It took me hours on the phone to track him down, once I finally found him. I spoke to the front desk secretary at open on Monday 8-9-21 she was very nice over the phone, said she'd help me get my prescription, and took my info. However after I walked in the door about noon, I was met with a completely "different" person. Told me she hasn't gotten a chance to talk to the doctor yet, I asked when she thinks she will be able to because of my situation of needing my glasses for work next day. This is when the faces, and attitudes started. She then informed me the glasses are no longer made here, so that's impossible. I mentioned that I'd take the script to Lens Crafters, and get the glasses made. She then mouthed off with "Well you go over there you need to spend X amount of dollars to use their lab" My plan was to follow Dr. Zier to this practice. After this though, that's out of the question. As of Thursday the 12th I still haven't heard back from them.
I had an appointment today at 12:20, didn't get out of there until 3:20! While the staff were super friendly and helpful, most of us don't have 3 hours to spend on an eye exam! Prices seemed higher than when it was Eyemart, also.
I went in for my 3:15 pm appointment. Was not told doctor was over an hour behind. Doctor never apologized for my wait. After the exam, the drops were put in to dilate my pupils, but no one ever checked them after. When I drove 45 minutes one way to pick them up, the lab had put my prism in backwards but they were never checked at the lab before sending them. Then I found out I paid for the prism and for Transition on each lens. Every place else charges per pair of glasses. Overpaid by $125. I will never recommend going there unless you have a simple pair of glasses. The more complex, the worse they mess them up.
Friendly staff, Professional and helpful service. Its now Pearle Vision though. ..........................................................
Very unorganized, staff don't seem to know what they're doing, poor selection of eyewear and took the glasses 3 times longer to come in than I was told, do not recommend
The appointment went fine. It's the unending spam and unsolicited robo calls that follow up. It's probably an Eye Mart corporate policy but it doesn't matter. I ALWAYS check the box to not use my email or phone number for spam and I won't ever give my number without knowing it won't be sold or used for spam. Eye Mart doesn't care - they use it for spam. I finally called the store and had them remove me from their files as a customer. No eye exam is worth the kind of annoyance and bother you'll get afterwards.
the manager Montana was great fixed the issue my glasses entered wrong the bifocal line was too high , Montana is the only reason i will return the staff is very rude and nasty
My husband was to have an eye appointment at 9 AM. The appointment was confirmed by phone the day before. We arrived for the appointment about 20 minutes early and there were no lights on inside and the parking lot was bare. We called the office to let them know we were here and got an answering machine. About 20 minutes later we received a call back from eye mart. They asked us if we could come back later because they didn't have another appointment until after 11 AM. They never called us to cancel the appointment and we drove 20 minutes to get there. Naturally we responded no!!! We made an appointment at a different business. Never will recommend eye mart to anyone!!! Worst customer service ever! They could care less about you! No wonder they have such bad ratings!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
