I have been a patient of the Dr. Wolanin for shoulder issues, and I am now visiting him for knee issues. He is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain in detail all of your options and treatment plans. I truly appreciate he takes into consideration your life style and as an active person he has put me on the path to continue my daily workouts and active life style. For those of you with orthopedic issue, I highly recommend Doctor Wolanin

Not a very informative surgeon, doesn't seem to have time to follow up on what he did for a patient. Passed all additional follow ups to other staff members. Overall, I would not recommend or refer anyone to him.

his people skills and bedside manner are lacking. he does his job of surgery well. he leaves everything else to his pa and other staff members and doesn't seem to have the time or desire to see if patient wants info, etc. it was not my choice to see him. an er visit threw me his way by default for a broken wrist. I would NOT refer anyone to him.

Doctor Wolanin performed surgery on my right shoulder 10 years ago and did an excellent job, he could tweet his bedside manners but if you want someone to hold your hand and give you a Kleenex box pick someone else.. On the other hand if you want a Doctor to tell you the way it is and perform an excellent job I highly recommend Doctor Wolanin

Dr Wolanin is a great doctor, and one of the best surgeons I have ever worked with in the OR. Not only is he extremely talented and skilled in orthopaedic surgery, but he will do everything in his power to make sure you receive the best treatment and have the best outcome. He is a very nice guy, and is always complimentary of his OR staff.
