List of David A. Ryan's Reviews
I would not recommend anyone going to Dr. Ryan for pain management. He talks a good game when you meet him but that quickly deteriorates if you need medication management from your previous doctor. I found him to be highly unsympathetic, and lacking in basic knowledge of the Opioid pain medication field. I felt as if I was enlightening him about this drugs effects. He did not monitor my condition as needed. In my opinion he is simply another frightened Doctor who is scared silly to prescribe pain medication. I expected more but received less. So disappointed in David A. Ryan as I was deeply hurt by this Doctor. I feel he failed me, and treated me as just another number. Good riddance.
I was referred to Dr Ryan for a pain stimulator. I have had prior back surgeries, and what was my pain management refused to install the stimulator, they wanted to keep injections up, which were happening every 3 month. I couldn’t do it anymore and the majority of the time they didn’t work! I’ve been dealing with chronic back pain for seven+ years! (Two fusion’s, laminectomy, two hardware removes, and an infection with the first surgery. Dr Ryan explained all the risks and benefits so I knew what I was getting into. He let me know the steps I would have to take to be able to get the stimulator. It took about 5 months after that meeting to complete all steps and have my trial stimulator installed. I am now 3 weeks post op from my permanent stimulator and Dr Ryan has been amazing all the way through! I don’t think I’ve ever had a more compassionate doctor than Dr Ryan! He actually called me several times to check in and about my overall care. He, Dr Ryan called me! On more than one occasion. I can say honestly never have I had a doctor call me, not his office, him! That may sound silly but it made me feel that he truly cares and although he’s a doctor he’s a person too! I’m still recovering from the surgery pain but I can already tell this stimulator is going to be life changing! I am forever grateful to Dr Ryan!!!! I would recommend anyone suffering with chronic pain to him and his office! He’s a great doctor and a better person.
Dr. Ryan, MD, Susan Dover, CPN, nurses and front office staff ARE THE BEST. During my 4 visits, I walked in and immediately checked in by courteous professional staff. Nurse staff takes care of everything you need in a friendly professional way before and after your procedure. I had 4 procedures with Dr. Ryan. Each one was painless and done in a caring way. One nurse even held my hand during injections. Results are fantastic in relieving my back pain. I highly recommend Dr. Ryan and his staff. Best experience.
Horrible Doctor who can never be reached. CNP's who are incompetent Dummies answering phones. Negative -10
Absolutely terrible pain management from the top down. Run Run away from this southwest pain management group!

Just the best Dr. And all of the staff are wonderful
First I'm greeted by 1 of 3 Very Professional Patient Courteous Lovely Ladies, Emily, Alex or Amy. They make sure All the Paperwork is up 2 date & filled. Next I'll see Dr. Ryan or Julie Such & they are Very Understanding & Listen 2 my concerns & issues & discuss what could be the best procedures 4 me. So far there have been some improvements. I Would Highly Recommend Dr. Ryan & His Staff & Associates 2 Anyone looking 2 get Relief & 2 be treated with Respect & Dignity.
I need rods in my neck and entire back. I also need 2 knee replacements and 2 shoulders I have been going to pain management and decided to try holistic WORSE mistake never could find a pain doctor after multiple times in and out of southwest they had me try this new drip called suboxone for pain I had no idea what it was but I took it. Never was so sick in my life they said try medical marijuana ( not for me) went to hospital thought I was dying. They send this doctor Ryan in he was the most unprofessional arrogant man I ever met in my life he walks in days I’m not helping you but take Motrin. I have seen Dr Ryan for years. This past Monday i saw him and was in the most pain i have been in. My left hip was so painful that it traveled down to my knee and really was unable to walk. I know my insurance takes at least 2 weeks for any approval for treatment. On tuesday the next day i was called and was told the injections were approved already. I was set to go in anytime and i knew i would need to wait my turn. He had me in on Wednesday 48 hrs later for my injection. He has the best team and he his the best Dr. For his caring and understanding nature. The best bed side manor. Dr Ryan gives you all options and helps you understand what they are. I want to thank him and his staff. They are turely and honestly the best.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
