This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had! After I filled out paperwork to start therapy, I was told that someone would reach out to me within a day. Weeks had gone by with no one reaching out to me to schedule my first appointment. I had to call them a few times to get anything scheduled. Also, they charged my credit card on file without notifying me or sending me an invoice explaining what the charges were regarding. After weeks of me calling to fix being overcharged the owner proceeded to yell at me on the phone, when I did absolutely nothing wrong, in fact she even fired her billing team. The owner was completely unprofessional! I cannot believe this person runs a mental health organization.

Had an appointment scheduled on 4/29/2022 for 5/3 at 1300. Arrived at 1240 and was instructed to wait. Waited until 1340 and was told that an incorrect time was given even with text message and email correspondence. Sorry that I wasted Gabriel G Counselings time.

This group is wonderful. They are caring, very professional and committed to helping their patients. I would highly recommend them. I was very surprised that there are negative reviews on here. Counseling is never easy but it works. It's just hard for some people to hear negative things about themselves. We live in the real world where the truth sometimes hurt but necessary.

Awesome place! They were super helpful and my insurance coveted everything! I was able to talk directly to the owner to talk out the problems I’ve been having. Highly recommend ! Everyone I know that goes here says the same! Thank you Gabriel group !

Gabriel Group Counseling, LLC uses an independent/outside billing company that has been in business since 1984. They are responsible for submitting claims to the patient’s insurance company and responsible for submitting bills to patients. The process for billing is as follows: the claim is submitted by the billing company to the insurance company, the billing company receives a response from the insurance company, the billing company sends a statement to the patient. If the statement has a balance the billing company sends up to three statements to the patient and the last one will say ‘final notice’. If after receiving three statements over a three month period a patient does not respond, the billing company calls the patient. If the patient still does not respond the billing company informs Gabriel Group Counseling. GGC then reaches out to the client at least twice via text. If there is still no response from the patient the statement is sent to collections. Please note that in the process outlined we are asking for a response from the patient and payment isn’t mentioned. We pride ourselves on working with patients who may be financially struggling. Unfortunately, healthcare coverage can be very confusing and is not something someone wants to deal with when they are seeking help of any kind. However, it is the patient’s responsibility to understand his or her healthcare coverage.
