List of Mark Lembach's Reviews
I had one Dr. who I dealt with for my right shoulder. Not happy whatsoever. When I hurt the opposite shoulder, Dr. Lembach was right on top of everything. He made you feel comfortable, which a lot of doctors rush through the appointment. He made sure that I was completely satisfied with what happened. I went to him for my shoulder and at my appointment, I brought up my knee. Instead of blowing me off and making me schedule another appointment, he looked at it right away and even took x-rays. Proceeded to let me know exactly what was going on and went right into the next step. He knew what he was doing and explained everything in detail. He was even willing to take a look at the file on the one that he had nothing to do with, on his own time at no extra charge, just to see if there's anything that he thought could be done. I would recommend Dr. Lembach to anyone.
Don't waste your time they will give you the runaround. The office manager Annmarie seems to know it all and is very rude. We got imaging done for herniated disc outside of UH system. Because of that our appointments to see a surgeon have been pushed back twice now having to wait months and months. I just got off the phone with Annmarie and told her for future reference to tell this to other people and she replies with "thank you for telling me how to do my job." I'm trying to help other people from getting jerked around like we are. I should have listened to the other Google reviews but instead tried to give this place a chance. Annmarie also keeps telling us that we don't need pain management and when my husband went for his appointment and what it's asked what his pain was on a level of 1 to 10, he said 10. They're response was"oh you would be passed out on the floor if it was a 10" what kind of provider talks like this to their patients? What kind of provider talks like this to their patients? Absolutely 100%, do not go here.
The office manager Annmarie Walker acts like she knows it all. Refuses any sort of discussion about pain management. Is extremely rude and will cut you off to where you can't even get a full sentence out. We've done 6 weeks of physical therapy with rounds of medicine and we're still in pain over here. This office also doesn't inform patients that if you get imaging done outside of UH healthcare system you will not be able to see a surgeon. Because of this our appointments keep getting canceled and push back months and months. I called back to inform her of this to let other patients know so they don't get jerked around like we did and she responds with "thank you for telling me how to do my job." No office should be speaking to patients this way. On my husband's first visit they asked him what his pain was on a scale of 1 to 10. When he told them at 10:00 they responded with "oh you would be passed out on the floor right now if it were a 10." There's a reason why this office is getting bad reviews. Listen to them and do not waste your time.
The office manager Annmarie Walker acts like she knows it all. Keeps telling us we don't need pain management even though we've done 6 weeks of physical therapy and rounds of medicine. Doesn't know that imaging done outside of UH will not get you in to see a surgeon. We've been waiting months in our appointments keep getting canceled because of it. When I called back to tell her this for future reference ...
Very unprofessional. Told me a torn retracted shoulder tendon needs at least a month of PT before surgery and that I have frozen shoulder.. When I said I want a second opinion he walked out. Well I got 2 YES 2 second opinions who both LAUGHED they BOTH SAID THERE IS ZERO EVIDENCE OF FROZEN SHOULDER AND THAT PT ON A TORN RETRACTED TENDON WILL ONLY WORSE MY CONDITION MAKING SURGERY A BIGGER PROJECT AND MORE DIFFICULT RECOVERY BEWARE OF THIS QUACK!
Extremely rude receptionists. Terrible office organization skills. I love Southwest, but I am ashamed to admit I worked for them knowing one of their practices treats patients the way they do. Thankfully, I am a nurse with experience in a surgeons office so I have an idea of what needs to be done. I feel terrible for patients that get dragged through the mud and are spoken to rudely during their time with this office.
This is my 2nd procedure with Dr Lembach. I had rotator cuff surgery a year and a half ago. And last week, I went to him for a painful ganglion cyst on my shoulder. Near my surgery site. Both times Dr Lembach was professional, courteous and very kind. He takes his time and explains things thoroughly. I appreciate that. I highly recommend him and the entire Orthowest practice.
He doesn't make eye contact and has zero bedside manner. Will most definitely look for a new ortho!
I've been going to Dr. Lembach for 5 years. Have had 2 knees replaced in the past 2 years. Have had nothing but great care at OrthoWest. Did excellent job on my knees.
i have been a patient at orthowest for over 20 years, and have had nothing but excellent results, the few people with the negative reviews, had probably did not like the answers they were given, or wanted pain pills to fix their problems

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
