Gabrielle is compassionate and caring. She really listens to your concerns and works with you to find solutions. I would highly recommend her as a counselor. I am happy that we found her.

I've had a wonderful experience with the owner for services and find sessions insightful, validating, and healing.

I was disappointed with this practice. My fiancé and I originally started going to a therapist here, after a few sessions I could see my needs weren’t being addressed and some sessions I wasn’t even getting the chance to talk about the problems I had. At our last session I asked if I needed to come anymore which she responded “no not really” so we asked if my Fiancé could just start seeing her alone. She said that would be fine. She then calls me and apologizes and asks me to come to one more visit. I felt so uncomfortable and put on the spot that I did not go back. When my fiancé called to schedule an appointment with her she repeatedly said she felt uncomfortable, and would not see him. I then started seeing another therapist on my own but things just didn’t work out. I don’t feel like these are trained professionals. The owner was really responsive and helpful when I would email with questions though.

I have had experience with both Liz and Kara in terms of individual and couples therapy. They are very empathetic, caring, devoted, and focused on their patients. I have been to other therapists/counselors but never felt as positive of a place as I do here. I cannot thank them enough for the support, help, and encouragement that they have given me.

Our family has had the privilege to work with both Kara and Rachel. They both provide high-quality, patient-centered care that is supportive and growth-focused. They have incredible patience, persistence, and passion for helping others. They truly care about their clients! We have found them both to be genuine, encouraging, and grounded in realistic expectations. As parents, we also highly recommend them for tweens and teens. Our whole family has been abundantly blessed by these amazing professionals!

If you want a positive therapy experience in which you feel supported along your journey, Searchlight Family Therapy is the place to go. I have worked with three of the therapists there in different aspects, and I would highly recommend each of them. Kara will validate your thoughts and feelings and make you feel heard. She will also challenge you and call you out when needed to help you grow and improve as an individual and as a part of a family or couple. Hannah will provide empathy and support while educating you on many different aspects of life using clever metaphors to help you relate and understand. She is kind and shows that she cares, and she will also challenge you when needed. Rachel, the owner, is very passionate about what she does. She is an EMDR therapist and uses her compassion and heart to support you and help you feel comfortable in a vulnerable state during EMDR and individual therapy. All three of these amazing therapists are knowledgeable and want the best for their clients. I am truly grateful for their support, validation, and courage to challenge me as I continue to grow on my journey through the ups and downs of life. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I've been a client of Searchlight Family Therapy for several months now and it's been really great. I absolutely love my sessions with my therapist. She's incredibly supportive, she holds me accountable, and she gives me all the tools that I need to deal with various situations.

Our therapist was great. Loved her. No complaints with her. The owner needs to farm out her administrative work. She is incompetent at best and malicious at worst when it comes to billing. She sat on piles of our claims for months, with absolutely no record of submission to our insurance agency. Then tried to charge us for them directly! Only after I filed a formal complaint against her with the insurance agency did things move forward. Of course, this was after causing us unreasonable stress for months, threatening to charge us thousands of dollars, while blaming us for the issue. Edit: "Disrespectful discourse" = asking why I was billed without notice. We were charged $400 with threats of another $1900 to come for "rejected insurance claims" that had never been submitted. We fired you, not the other way around. Even though you did try to fire us for asking why were were billed without notice.

There’s not enough room to accommodate all of the amazing things we could say about her. In short, she’s approachable, empathetic and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to family/children/individual counseling. If you are looking for a professional that wants to make a difference in her patients/clients lives… to truly help them, look no further. She’s nothing short of exceptional.
