Dr. Shadwick and staff are excellent. I always feels so welcome and well taken care of. The doctor takes his time with me and gives me a very through eye exam. Marcy is a magician back in the frame room and always finds me something I love. I would highly reccomend this practice!

Dr. Steven A. Shadwick is great. He truly cares. I once dropped my curling iron in my eye. It was a Sunday when the office was closed. My husband called him and he met us at his office to take a look. He wrote me out a prescription. When we see him out in public he knows us and greets us by name. He is not only kind but very good at his job. I highly recomend him.

I just want to share how incredibly unhappy I am with this office and their "patient care." Summit Eye Care in Middletown Ohio. Dr. Steven Schadwick. I walk in there with my 2 MONTH old SLEEPING son and the lady at the front greets me with "is that a baby? Where is someone to watch IT, we don't allow children in and here he won't see you with a baby." (not even a goodmorning) When I ask to reschedule this doctor comes out and they tell me I should go elsewhere he can't help me. There was one other woman in there with 2 small children, 1 in a carseat, whome they told to leave in the waiting room for her visit. The receptionist was extremely rude and didn't even offer an apology or any sort of empathy. To top it off the doctor told me I should go somewhere else!!! I wasn't rude or nasty and did not deserve to be treated like that.

Dr. Shadwick is an excellent doctor. He and his staff, Marcy and Beth, are very professional and a pleasure to work with. My eye exam was very thorough and all of my questions were answered. His optician, Marcy, is very knowledgeable of all the lens and frame manufacturers and styles. She walked me through all of my frame and lens choices and helped me to decide what was best for me. I highly recommend Dr. Shadwick. That’s why I am giving him and his staff 5 stars in every category.

If your looking for an eye exam that's about all your really going to get out if this experience. The dr does not care about your needs and all but Marcy was unfriendly. Did not feel like my expectations were being met and I'm very easy going. Take your money and go somewhere else and hey you will probably save yourself money too.
