I do not recommend Dr. Jack B. Basil! He performed my hystorectomy Aug 2018 with Stage 1 uterine Cancer. He explained to me & m/husband the low risk of speading-even drawing it on paper that after hysterectomy he would only remove 4 lymph nodes to test! I began having adema swelling, so I asked the office how many he removed late Dec 2018. They were hesitant to tell me. When they told me 27 was removed, I was very upset! So sometime in early Jan 2019 at my appt I asked Dr. Basil why was 27 removed at such low grade cancer, he didn't give me a good enough answer. I also asked him why didn't he give me the dye option, and he said he didnt do that at the time! Hard to believe! WATCH this Doc, he's obviously making big money on ea lymphnode removal!! I'm grateful to God I only had S-1 cancer & no kemo or radiation, but now suffer almost daily w/lymphedema unnecessarily! Avoid him!!

Jack Basil is an excellent doctor. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and courteous. I had no problems after my robotic abdominal surgery and the incisions were taped (flawlessly!) with steri-strips. I was frightened and didn't know what to expect after the operation, but Basil gave me some estimates (I could expect to start feeling much or be "at my baseline" 4-6 weeks after the surgery). My complaint--and I want to emphasize that this is NOT unique to Basil--is that American doctors don't really do enough follow-up or physiotherapy with patients. I did a lot of my own research and asked doctor-friends about what to expect (in greater detail) during recovery. Takeaway: This man is a first-rate surgeon, but I hope I never have to see him again! Seeing him again would mean that I need another operation and/or have cancer. :) *Office staff can be difficult/unresponsive.

I have never found a Doctor that was so nice and talked to you so you understood what he was talking about. My mom was Gail Marchetti he took care of everything he even had hospice set up for us so we could keep mom at home with us. I could never say thank you enough For everything you did for my mom and us. God bless you 🙏😇❤️

I cannot say enough about the excellent care my Mother received from Dr. Basil. He talked to us on a level that we could understand and made sure all our questions were answered. We had Hospice at the end and the nurses were very impressed with him also. If anything was needed he took care of it immediately even while he was on vacation. Thank you Dr. Basil for making our last couple months with our Mother better because you were there.

Dr. Basil took very good care of me. I felt at ease with him. He is self confident, patient, and kind. My surgery and quick recuperation were amazing, thanks to Dr. Basil doing my surgery laparoscopically. I would definitely recommend Dr. Basil to family and friends. The staff was very efficient and knowledgeable, answering any questions I had. Wait time was always minimal at appointments. Thanks, Dr. Basil and staff.

I have great confidence in Dr Basil and his team. They have been with me through surgery and chemotherapy and are the very best!!!!!
