Not really happy with recent visits. I was in the hospital recently and he never paid a visit to see how I was. While he is always prompt with appointments, appointments are rushed. I get no answers. Not happy and need to find someone new

Doesn't call back when there is a problem. I go to the hospital, doesn't even check. Will non longer see. Very disappointed

Dr. Halvonik is a caring and thorough doctor. I have been going to him for many years. I was referred to him by my cardiologist. I get pneumonia easily during the winter. When I have problems, he wants me to call immediately so he can see me or call in a prescription. I have managed to avoid getting pneumonia for years as as result. He also has a great dry sense of humor. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good pulmonologist.

Dr. Halvonik's responses to my questions seemed like he had said them hundreds of times before almost like a form letter.. He offered very little information about my condition, treatments, or next steps. When I submitted questions in writing to try to better understand my condition, I received answers using acronyms in one incomplete sentence. Feeling my condition was too serious for this lack of care I chose to see a Dr in another health system and can't believe how much better the care is.
