Is there a half star rating? I have called a few times and left voicemails, needing information regarding my sons diagnosis for school purposes and they refuse to call back. I guess my next step is to make the drive and try to get what I need face to face.
I don't know why Google won't let tell everyone my experience. But they won't charge my insurance company for the visit, worse thing is the visit are 5 minutes long over the phone. They're charging us 300 for a 5 minute or less phone call. Also good luck getting in contact with them, they even said they don't answer phone calls only voicemail and they'll call you. Which is unfair since they'll call back days or hours later while I'm in class or work now. And they kinda lied about the voicemail too, I spent a week going through withdrawal leaving voicemails and phone calls with them never calling me back or picking up the phone (was one of the worst constant feeling I ever had too with how bad the withdrawal was) only reason I got my meds was because I went to the children's hospital and explained what happened, they got pretty annoyed just hearing what happened and 30 minutes after giving them there information they called us back. I don't recommend this over priced doctor, look up other people experience too on doctors review sites if you don't believe me.
He will give you medicine and no matter what the symptoms are he will blame you "it's your diet" "you didn't take it properly" "the meds can't do that" and even if you want to call them they won't pick up, I have called so many times over the course of weeks and no one picks up. The only time I was able to get into contact with them is when I went to a children's hospital and complained about my withdrawal, they contacted him for me and I was finally able to get my medication. The lady at the front desk even told me they don't pick up phone calls anymore and will only call you when they want to call you. It could be days or hours later which doesn't always work out. The lady at the front desk even threatened me, saying she'll put it in my file I'm hard to work with if I don't get my way, and even admitted that I'm angry about the call only. She decided it was better to say that instead of the truth "he called for a week and got mad when no one picked up"
I saw Dr. Chung, for a short time while I was at KBMC. He was very kind to me, and understood how I felt. I would reccamend this doctor to anyone who suffers from depression/mood disorder.
I saw Dr Chung when I was at Kettering Behaviorial Medicine center and he was extremely rude ! He always threatned me and told me to stop crying when I really couldn't control it . Some of the times where I was having those negative thoughts I went into the Emergency Room and the on call doctor was doctor Chung , The nurse called him to see If I could get admitted to KBMC but he just said no ! He just needs to go home. I would not recomend this rude & disrespectful to anyone !!
Dr.Chung is a great doctor , when I saw him he was very nice and we could get a hold of him easily.
Dr. Chung is a caring, compassionate professional. He has a real connection with my son and understands how he thinks. I feel lucky we found him in time. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their teen's behavior.
Dr. Chung treated my 17 year old daughter. He switched her medication to one that is banned for adolescents. He had us put her in an outpatient day program so that he could monitor the effects the meds had on her for 2 weeks. She had horrible panic attacks, migraine headaches, no sleep and other side effects that were listed as dangerous and to be reported to the Doctor immediately. We (parents) could not get a hold of Dr. Chung to report her problems. Dr. Chung did not see her even ONCE during her 2 weeks in the outpatient program! The counselors treated her horribly and harrassed her and threatened her. She was supposed to be tutored to catch up in school while she recovered from pneumonia but there were no tutors and she wasn't allowed to study. She couldn't stand the panic attacks, headaches and lack of sleep any longer and ended up hanging herself. Dr. Chung is a danger to the profession! I went back to the center to pick up my coat I left there and another parent and adolescent were complaining of the same problems and that they couldn't get in touch with Dr. Chung either. How many children have to die?
Doctor diagnosed me with Schizophrenia, which was later changed by another doctor to mood disorder. Prescribed Abilify, when had allergic reaction, was not available and then recommended Benadryl for sleeping against manufacturer directions. Then changed medication program to Risperdal, Seroquel (which caused pre-diabetic blood sugar level to rise to 115), and Depakote. Commented that he was trying to get 'titration' right, I'm familiar with titrations from chemistry lab but if you get one drop off it's noted in the notebook. My body is not Chemistry Lab. Went off the meds, finished my degree and doing fine without drugs (unless it's wine you're talking about), and oh yeah grapefruit juice is nice again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
