Dr. Goodman is the epitome of what the medical field has lost. She is kind, open, compassionate, approachable, caring, knowledgeable and utilizes her critical thinking skills. Due to Grave’s, my thyroid was obliterated many years ago. It has been a struggle to find someone who who’ll treat me as a person and not just my lab work. Dr. Goodman is that person. There is never more than a 5 min wait and I have never felt rushed. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Dr Goodman for about 5 years. I think that she is wonderful! She is kind and friendly and really cares about her patient's! She takes great care of both me and my daughter! We followed her from Newark to Mt Vernon and would probably follow her to the ends of the earth! We LOVE her! Her staff is very nice as well!

Dr Goodman spent a portion of my consult giving an unsolicited "lecture" defending my (former) primary care physician's terrible office staff and wasted my time with her inappropriate comments. I left her office feeling chastised and insulted. She is rude,belittling, and lacks any empathy,especially since she supposedly has diabetes herself. Also,the GTT she was supposed to order never got ordered,so I have yet to get my testing done. Horrible care,but typical of Knox Community Hospital.

I was interrupted when trying to share information about my condition. Nothing was discussed concerning my health until after the labs were taken and only the labs were used to make decisions and these action steps were communicated to me by the medical assistant and not the doctor. When results needed to be faxed to my other doctor's, the results were limited if not even shared and so my other doctor's were not included. It was a very frustrating experience that I do not recommend!

I've been seeing Dr. Goodman for a few years now for my Cushing's Disease. She spaces her appointment's so that there is no congestion in the waiting room. The office staff is nothing but nice, friendly and polite. Dr. Goodman herself has a great "bedside manner" and is very knowledgeable. She is very thorough and diligent in her practice. I've never had one bad visit with her. I wish she could be my general doctor as well as my specialist. I trust her with my health and my life.

I had my thyroid removed close to a year ago. After messing with several doses of meds, my surgeon referred me to an Endocrinologist. I am so happy I went with Dr. Goodman. Not only did she listen to my issues and concerns, but she had answers. She actually called me with all my test results. And, when I had another issue, Dr. Goodman called me back. She is friendly but professional. I highly recommend Dr. Goodman.
