I had a well visit for my 6mo old baby. Anna voiced concerns over his weight. I asked her if he appeared to be unhealthy (no sagging skin, no ribs showing, not constantly crying, he's even got a little belly on him). She lectured me for 10 minutes about how he needs to eat eat eat to put on 2lbs in the following weeks. I shared the visit experience with my husband who wasn't thrilled to hear how she lectured me for 10 minutes. This is our 5th child, and 2 of our other kids are super tiny also. He told her we didn't agree with her assessment. She proceeded to threaten to call the proper authorities if we didn't comply with the weight checks because she would deem it neglect. She then hung up on him. I appreciate open dialogue. I do not appreciate fear tactics and threats made because we don't agree. I have since found a new pediatrician to have him seen by. And will be removing my kids from her care. She over stepped big time.

Yes you have to wait sometimes for the doctor to see you're hurt foot because the 95 year old lady who came in for a 15 minute checkup ahead of you is having a heart attack!!! What do you want Dr. McMaster to do, let the old lady die? There are lot's of people who might be very sick ahead of you... watch some TV in the waiting room and get over it. Dr. McMaster is very nice... I can see that many bad people would not like her. She doesn't give in to Narc seekers.

Dr. McMaster is a caring doctor who takes care of every patient from delivering babies to care for the elderly. She is a very good doctor. The best in Napoleon, Ohio. She will not prescribe narcotics to drug seekers- so I'm sure she will be rated low by criminals.
