I will start of on a positive note, at least at Ohio Health Urgent Care Nelsonville a person can get in, be seen and get out in a very quick and timely manor. However my complaint is, On Sun March 8th I came in and I saw Dr. John Wesley I believe was his name, I had a cough for a little over a week and it felt like bronchitis so I wanted to get it checked before it got worse. I had no fevor and no other symptoms. My BP was high 144/99 and the dr told me that if all I had was a cough I had no business coming in and to come back if I had a fevor for more than 24 hrs and he sent me on my way. 2 weeks later my cough had gotten much worse but I still had no fevor. I went to Athens Holzer who told me I had severe bronchitis and was on the verge of pnemonia. The dr there told me I needed to have been treated sooner! I still had no fevor! I recieved meds there to help. Dr at Nelsonville made me feel stupid for coming in wasting his time!

The urgent care staff is remarkable! They are fast, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I have utilized their services numerous times over the past few years, and I have always received excellent care. The receptionists are always kind, courteous, thorough, and quick, too. I highly recommend this urgent care location for urgent medical care needs.
