Dr. Shaw has been our son's pediatrician from birth. He actually came to the hospital on a Sunday morning - the morning after my wife delivered to do a checkup on our son! I don't know of any other pediatrician that does that these days. He always takes time to answer questions. I appreciate that he doesn't automatically order antibiotics. He is a practical, straight forward doc that cares. Highly recommend!

Dr. Shaw asks questions, and answers all Mom questions. Is genuinely compassionate about any and all concerns. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Shaw is a very good Dr. Takes his time, never rushes Office staff is good also

Dr Shaw is great, takes his time and explains everything very well. His staff is friendly and easy to work with as far as scheduling goes. My only complaint is the office waiting room is very dirty looking. The floors were dirty, the blinds were covered in dust, it could use a cleaning.

Really love Dr. Shaw. He always takes the time to thoroughly answer all our questions, and we never feel rushed. However, I am not a fan of his nurse. My 2-year-old is terrified whenever she goes to the doctor, and the nurse at his office has zero personality. She barely smiles at us while we're there and never takes the time to get to know us or our daughter. I don't expect her to necessarily socialize with us, but a smile or few kind words wouldn't hurt--especially when working with children. It honestly makes me want to switch offices, which is horrible, considering how much we love Dr. Shaw!

Cons: office is dirty and unkempt, the elevator going upstairs is ancient, the stairs are absolutely filthy, the exam rooms are unclean as well (one room had a dead spider lodged between the table and wall), the table that the baby scale sat looked like it came from a thrift store, nurse was extremely rude and unfriendly with my child, wait time to even get back to the exam room was at least a half hour. Will not be back. Pros: Dr. Shaw takes time, was kind to my child and answers the portal.

Going to him for 5 years now and I have 3 kids. Absolutely wonderful. Careing, concerned dr that you don't find these days. Well worth the wait. Questions, any and all, are answered professionally.
