Dr. Lykens repaired my torn rotator cuff a few years ago. He did an excellent job and now, it is identical to the other rotator cuff that was uninjured. For me, most important is how the surgeon performs on surgery day but I will also say that I genuinely liked him. I found him funny, confident, very willing to explain what was happening and answer questions. He made me very comfortable that he was doing my surgery and he didn't disappoint. I highly recommend!

Dr. Lykins is a very knowledgeable,caring, and compassionate dr. He has done numerous surgeries (10 or more). We have never had a complaint. We have always been treated awesome. Thak you Dr. Lykins for who you are and what you do.

Dr. Lykins is a very nice guy. He did my knee replacement and I had it on March 15, 2017. As of today April 15, 2017 I am moving around very well. The physical therapy at Spectrum is very good also. I would recommend them to anyone.

be cautious about doctors that don't listen to your problems. He is not a good listener. Misdiagnosed my problem. Worse than before after two knee surgeries

Dr.Lykins is the best doctor I have ever met.Nicest man,very humble.He is always so kind,and has the best bed side manner. He has helped me very much,with my knee problems.He will listen to you and answer any questions you have.He is not in a rush to leave,and will wait to leave until you are finished will all you have to say.I highly recommend him,to anyone who needs an Orthopaedic Surgeon.He is a high quality doctor,with many years of experience.I have never Ever had a problem with him,or his office staff.All in all,he is a TOP of the line doctor,and I am very thankful for him.He is a good man.He is the best doctor ever!

Dr,Lykins operated on my knee on June 16, I have not seen or heard from him since.I am having a lot of swelling and pain and have tried to contact him,have gone to his office, he refused to see me because I did not have an appointment.My Primary care Doctor had suggested I drop by his office for pain relief.Later that same day I went to the Emergency Room at Aultman Hospital for tests for a blood clot,still no word from Dr.Lykins.His office never answers the phone, you are prompted to leave a message, which is answered 2 hours to 2 days later. The only time I actually talked to him he seemed arrogant and short.I can not honestly judge his work,since I cannot see him to question my problems.

While other doctors told my that only my meniscus was torn, Dr. Lykins found my ACL torn as well. He's got amazing bedside manner, extremly clear in his explanation and teaching, as well as a wonderful person as well. I've recommended him to friends.
