List of Peter Crosby's Reviews
Dr. Crosby has been my dr for 5 years. Gives meds right away when I need them filled, listens intently and takes his time with me and my husband. Very caring. Gets us in for an appointment very quickly. We love him
There has been a regular discrepancy in getting medication refilled. Calls are never returned.
Do not miss an appointment for any reason. I missed 2 appointments because I was in the hospital both times and he dropped me! He is a good doctor with poor office rules! Beware!
Dr. Crosby is very calm, soft-spoken and listens to what I have to say. He spent plenty of time taking medical history and perform patient assessment. He is an excellent physician and I like the healthcare he provides me.
Dr. Crosby is amazing my kids see him as a doctor. My son is 3, he does not like doctors but with Crosby he isn't afraid, he makes him feel safe
Great Doctor. Very nice and understanding. He take pride in his patients. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!
Takes care of his patents very well. Hes helped me threw alot of my sicknesses.
BEWARE - As a new patient, after waiting for 47 minutes for Dr. Crosby to come in, he proceeded to take the questions I had written up out of my hand and call me a hypochondriac. He was very rude and condescending, unwilling to listen and completely oblivious to anything I attempted to explain... I later received a bill for over $250 (a ridiculous amount) which they refused to do anything about. Extremely disappointed in both the doctor and the customer service. Will not be going back.
Dr. Crosby is truly a family doctor. Dr. Crosby has been our doctor for years, and we recommended him to my in-laws and also to my mother when they had moved back to Ohio. All five of us love/loved him. My mother-in-law was a difficult patient to deal with, but Dr. Crosby was always very kind to her and her husband. And when my own mother moved to Ohio and in with us, she also became his patient. I was so impressed with his bedside matter when my mother was dying of Leukemia a couple years ago. He was so kind and compassionate when he talked to her about end of life decisions. That conversation with her was as she was lying in the hospital a couple weeks before she passed. Whenever he visited her in the hospital, he never stood over her as he talked, or had his hand on the door ready to make a fast dash out, he never did that. He always pulled up a chair close to her and took all the time needed to listen and answer her questions. I even remember seeing him sitting on her bed a couple of times as they spoke. My husband and I wouldn't want anyone but him for our care. You usually have a lengthy wait in the office to see him, but that doesn't bother me because I know that he's taking his time with a patient the same way he's going to do when it's my turn. He really listens to his patents, and he usually draws little pictures to clearly explain a diagnosis or the plan of treatment. He is also not afraid to admit when he doesn't have an answer. Like many doctors that I've known, (I'm a retired nurse) Dr. Crosby doesn't give the impression that he's a god or on a power trip. The only negative thing that I have to say is that he sometimes can be slow at making sure that RX refills are called in. We've learned to work around that fact and just make sure that we call the office before we're nearly ready to run out. Dr. Crosby also has a great sense of humor, which we find refreshing.
The doctor seemed ok on the first visit, HOWEVER, his nurse...whom I will call "Nurse Ratchett" from the Clockwork Orange is a total turnoff. She called me after the visit and informed me that Dr. Cosby was restructuring my Warfarin dosage (making it much less and cutting it off in a few months)...I had a disastrous hysterectomy 9 years ago and had a Angio Seal placed into my deep vein because of a clot going to my heart; I was told by a vein doctor that I would have to take blood thinner for the rest of my life. Besides that, I also have high blood pressure, low back spinal problems, dvt scars, and Diabetics 2. This nurse was informing me of all the drastic changes of Dr. Crosby. I cancelled all future appointments with him. He didn't seem incompetent; however, his nurse belonged in a nut house. Therefore I would not list him with four stars at all. He would be more around 3.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
