List of Molly Emmert Md's Reviews
Went to Dr. Emmert for years. Don't know why. The last straw was when I had diarrhea for 2 months, lost 20 lbs and went to the emergency room. They ran a bunch of tests and told me to follow up with Dr. Emmert. When I followed up with Dr. Emmert, she suggested I see a gastroenterologist. When I saw the gastroenterologist, he recommend further tests but told me to be sure to have the tumor checked on my ovary. I had no idea what he was talking. The tests from the ER showed a softball-sized tumor on my ovary and Dr. Emmert didn't say a word. When I confronted her about it she said she told me. I think I would have remembered that ...
One visit and she sent me to hospital for X-ray. Then sent me for C Cat. One month with pain and I haven't gotten any information after having C-Cat and x-rays. No discussion of results of tests. Just an office call that referred me to a rheumatologist.
The worst woman doctor I have been too. She does not listen to how you feel. Only what she thinks, no empathy for how you feel. Does not look at you and makes faces as you talk. Will not see her again. Once was enough.
After moving to Oxford, OH, 8 years ago, I needed to find a new PCP. Our PCP at our previous location was extraordinary and I knew it was going to be hard to replace him. Dr. Molly is an internist and I feel most comfortable with someone with that training. She is very good. Willing to listen to my concerns and very good at explaining her diagnosis or treatment. I rarely give anyone 5 stars so 4 is tops with me.
A very neat and to the point physician that is open to questions and gives practical recommendations to her patients. She is willing to do whatever is necessary to help her patients.
I have been a patient of Dr. Emmert's for at least 15 years. I have always found her to be empathetic and a good listener.
I am a professor at Miami. I saw mixed reviews about her. One of my colleagues cautioned not to visit her as he did not have a great experience. When my time came to visit a doctor I tried my best to see some other doctor but no one could give me an appointment. I had no option but to see Dr. Emmert. I must say, I had an excellent experience with her. I first saw her in 2016 when she was very good. I saw her again in 2017 and was very happy with the quality of care she provided. I Recommend her.
Dr.Emmert comes across to me as a very caring, and efficient medical doctor.
I would not recommend Dr. Emmert to family or friends unless she has made some improvements over the last 7 years. That's when I left her practice. I found her attitude and bed side manner to be very poor. I had bad hip and back pain and she treated me like a drug seeker. After me begging her to find out what was wrong an MRI showed 3 degenerated disk and an arthritic hip. Another doctor helped me find ways to deal with the pain.
Dr. Emmert spends more time with patients than other doctors. She listens and has an excellent bedside manner. We have had great experiences at the Oxford and Indiana offices and the waits have never been long. I have NO hesitation recommending her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
