Carruozzo was our sons pediatrician for 5 months and we kept trying to give her a chance. She pushed “crying it out” on our family as well as telling me that nursing my then 4 month old at night was bad for his health. Each appointment was her talking down on me and my husband but we kept giving her a chance since we were first time parents and was trusting that she knew what she was talking about. It wasn’t until she told my husband his work hours were “impractical” and that he needed to change them did we realize she was completely inappropriate and wrong for our family. Beyond her judgmental attitude and outdated practice, she didn’t spend much time assessing our son. Each time she just sat down and made comments about all the things she thought we were doing wrong after a couple minutes of a brief physical.

She has been our pediatrician for 13 years now. She's always been a great listener, and actually engages the kids- they are her patients, not me, and I love that!

Do not recommend, waste of time. Doctor likes to over talk and argue when it's not necessary, makes you feel stupid for being there. Says "I have 27 years experience, I know" - improper response to patient asking simple questions. Does not listen to the patient. Is in a hurry to rush you out. Gave wrong diagnosis and no follow up. She simply does not care nor is she well rounded to even begin to diagnose, she's in a hurry to shut you down and kick you out.
