Dr. DeRiso saved my life in 2009. He did lung surgery on me after being diagnosed with lung cancer. He removed part of my lung. After going thru chemo I have been in remission for 11 yrs without him and a few other Dr's along the way I would have never been able to see my babies grow up. He has a super staff they are all so nice. I would highly recommend him for any of your medical needs. I have no problem putting my trust in in his hands. Thank you Dr. DeRiso and your staff in 2009.

Dr. DeRiso provided excellent care and compassion for my dad’s recents valve replacement. Upon learning that it was time for a new valve, we went to Cleveland for a consultation. But we didn’t feel comfortable with the surgical plan and travel involved. So we made the decision to stay at Firelands and work with Dr. DeRiso. Dr. DeRiso and his team made sure my dad was comfortable with the surgical plan and that he was healthy enough to have open heart surgery. We are all so grateful.

Griffin, Bellevue, Ohio-what a wonderful man!! My husband had the widow maker blocked at 99% along with other blockages. He is doing well because of Dr. Deriso and his team of professionals! A very personable and caring Physician who I would have no worries about operating on my loved ones again. Our whole family highly recommends Dr. Deriso and Firelands Medical Center - absolutely phenomenal care!
