I can only give 2 stars and that is for the doctor. My experience with Dr Murcek was excellent but the office staff is extremely rude. One person in particular is not easy to deal with, very unprofessional and does not want to be helpful.

The staff is extremely rude, lacks empathy, and does not care about patient perspective or situation at all. They called and let me know that I had a large balance due IN FULL, the DAY BEFORE my scheduled non-elective surgery and told me I had no other option but to pay IN FULL or not have the surgery. I was met with absolutely no care or compassion regarding this issue, despite being very obviously upset and in distress. I would never recommend this office to anyone, ever.

Dr. Murcek is absolutely the best! He found, diagnosed and treated (2 surgeries) my stage 3 cancer. He explained and was there for me through my treatments. I’ve been seeing him for follow ups for over 3 years now. The nurse and office staff is very friendly and helpful, they made the process so much better for me. I highly recommend Dr. Murcek and would not go anywhere else!

I’ve been seeing Dr Murcek for a couple of years. He’s preformed two surgeries on my throat. He’s direct and very informative while speaking with you as a patient. Something I very much respect. He is very caring and will answer questions to give you a clear understanding. I would recommend him with no hesitation!

Murcek treated my allergy for over 2 years, unsuccessfully. At one point I asked a different prescription. I was told to schedule another appointment. I saw him on 11/16. The prescription did not help. On early 2/17 I asked for a different prescription; the condition was the same, but I had to see him again. My wife called their office today and it looks like not much has changed since the poor reviews from last year. Person that answered the phone was extremely rude. So, I just called my primary doctor for a different doctor to be referred to.
