Dr. Karamlou was my dad’s doctor for almost 2 years. My father was diagnosed with mesothelioma. When we first met Dr. K we never knew what a huge impact he would have on our lives. He treated my dad like his own father and gave him hope to continue his fight with this awful disease. He is such a compassionate, caring doctor not to mention such an amazing human being. The love and devotion he has for his patients is tremendous. He is truly an angel with an amazing gift! He is one of the best doctors that we are so fortunate to know! We could of never gone through this without him. Sincerely The Jacobs family

Because of concern that my symptoms could be related to a blood ailment, I was referred to Dr. Karamlou by my primary care physician. I was very pleased to be under Dr. Karamlou's care. He is attentive, patient, educative and caring! He always encouraged me to ask questions and took the time necessary to answer them fully and clearly.I saw Dr, Karamlou at the Diablo Valley Oncology Center (DVO) in Pleasant Hill, for 8 months. He diagnosed my illness and prescribed a cycle of treatment tailored to my needs. He explained my options and what each facet of the treatment would be like. (My treatment ended last month and I feel great.) I'll continue seeing my periodically to make sure I stay healthy.By the way, the entire operation at DVO is superb: <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdvohmg.com&s=9e09d1de0c8239fcaa05f097cfcb0232a26dea5a61bca8e9bfe3234685886183" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">dvohmg.com</a>. Everyone I dealt with -medical as well as non-medical personnel- was courteous, generous and personable. And it really helps to have people with a sense of humor at a cancer center!
