I was referred to Dr Rhiew for neck surgery. He was thorough in his explanation of my condition in terms I could understand. He went through my MRI results and explained the issue step by step as well as clearly explaining the surgical process. The surgery day went smoothly and recovery has gone as expected. Dr Rhiew is an amazing surgeon and I would not hesitate to use him again!

Dr. Rhiew provided excellent patient care. On the initial visit he spent a significant amount of time obtaining my history and thoroughly explaining options, the procedure and expectations postop. On the surgical day, he reviewed the information with me prior to surgery and then actually came into my room postoperatively to check on me. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Rhiew is a very competent and skilled surgeon. I am greatful that he performed the spinal surgery on my then eighty two year old father back in 2018 due to a fall. Although my father is not longer with us, Dr Rhiew's surgical skills gave my active father a very good quality of life during his last few years. He was able to do the things he really enjoyed pain free.

Dr.Richard Rhiew did my surgery on Feb 5th 2021 i still have therapy to do but i feel better already than i have in a long time he is very pleasant shows u ur x-rays and test results when he is explains stuff to u fills out medical leave of absent papers promptly and will answer any questions u may have i highly recommend him i give him a 10+

I would highly recommend dr Rhiew I was just missed by many other doctors that didn’t order the proper tests to confirm my diagnosis until I saw Dr. Rhiew. He listened to me and ordered appropriate tests which showed a spondylolisthesis. He performed surgery on me and I am a brand new person. His intelligence and compassion saved my life thank you

I have been a patient of Dr. Rhiew for a couple of years. After going through several doctors, I finally found someone who not only listens to all my issues, but gives me an accurate diagnosis the first time! He is compassionate, knowledgeable and a great doctor!

When I had my surgery in January 2017, Dr. Rhiew put a cage in my side as he didn’t want to go in thru the back. In less than one day the cage fell out into my stomach and I had to have emergency surgery to get the cage out. I would not recommend this doctor to operate on anyone I know I then had to be taken by ambulance to another UH facility where another doctor performed the surgery that was a complete success

I had a bad fall and ended up having brain surgery. I had a massive blood Clot on my brain and multiple bleeds. Dr Rhiew did my surgery. I went to the ER Tuesday night, had the surgery Wednesday and came home Thursday. As fa as I am concerned he saved my life.
