Patient friendly health center and I feel comfortable coming here. I have a very good Doctor at this health center. I appreciate Dr. Dunn and his staff. I love the fact that I can get my blood work done right in the same center.
I have been to this Kettering health center several times and have had nothing but good things to say. But this last time I went, will be the last. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday (2/22/23) to see a nurse practitioner because I had not been feeling well since last Sunday. I wanted to go in and hopefully get some antibiotics to kick whatever I had, before it got worse. Well I went in for my appointment, and a new nurse practitioner I’ve never had before, her name was Vanessa seen me that day. I told her my symptoms, and she told me “you haven’t been sick long enough for me to prescribe you antibiotics, and you’re young enough you should be able to kick it on your own” she then told me I could get some mucinex, and some allergy medicine to help my symptoms (which I had already been doing since I felt sick last Sunday) and then told me if I still felt bad by next Wednesday I could come back then and we could go from there. I left feeling blown off, and not taken seriously. Now today (2/24) 2 days later after this appointment, I feel 10 times worse, and decided to make an appointment else where because I wanted a different opinion. I left today, with an antibiotic, a steroid; and cough medicine for my sickness that was clearly severe to a new doctor I seen today. I could have already been feeling better at this time if Vanessa were to have taken me seriously, and not blown me off, like I could just get over this sickness on my own it since I’m “young” and gave me antibiotics when I clearly needed them 2 days ago. If I do go back to this Kettering center I will refuse to go back to her.
One of y'all's doctors/nurses decided it was a brilliant idea to give my 81 year old grandfather who has stage 4 COPD oxycodone and not tell anyone for a day or two and put him in the ICU. (obviously not the ICU in your hospital because who would trust you)
A scheduling nightmare. I literally dread every time I have to schedule an appt with Dr. Hirth. He is a very kind and capable doctor, provided you can get in to see him. I need script refills and a wellness check to get them and the first available appointment in August. It’s tough because it’s like KHN feels that’s acceptable. If you need actual sick care, go to urgent care. For me, this is a “form processing location and Dr. HIRTH is just kinda my “form completing guy”. It’s so unfortunate but what new health care looks like.
Everyone here has been very helpful and kind. Dr. Buch listens to my concerns and has provided great care in making sure I get the proper help. They take mental health seriously and genuinely do the best they can. My therapist Melissa Steele is very nice and listens really well.
I absolutely love my kids’ pediatrician! Joia Henson has been great in helping with my child’s growth. I enjoy her energy and relatability when it comes to my kids!
Seem like good facilities and doctors but they're months out on appointments, no cancelations usually either. Only good for check ups. If you have an immediate need you'll need to go to urgent care.
I've seen several doctors here, had blood work done, and x-rays. Everyone is very nice. I've never had any problems here. Definitely recommend!
My doctor invests her personal time. She researches articles and other informative media that can help me understand better what I need to know about my health. I never feel like she's trying to get out of the room because she's busy. She will make time if I think I need to see her urgently which has to be a pain because I don't like doctors due to a lengthy illness in my youth so it's rare I will talk to a doctor other than her. Doc Bond feels like that friend or relative you love seeing but you just don't see that often however when you do it's like no time has passed, know what I mean? 12 out of 10 definitely recommend 👌 😷🤒🤕🤢🤮🤧
This building is very nice and pretty spacious! There is different doctors and practices here, so I will speak only about that. I go there for my toddlers pediatrician, upstairs second floor. One of the best pediatricians around who accepts Caresource (things always change with doctors, so always call to check first what insurance they accept and if they are accepting new patients!!!) But super friendly people in this office! Joia Henson takes wonderful care of my daughter, takes time with her and I, to answer every question or concerns I may have, has printed out information for me, etc. I never want to lose this pediatrician! She is awesome and she is super nice to me as well, and always asks how I am doing as well. Such a nice, caring, kind woman!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
