Dr. Mason-Zied has been a wonderful doctor! So happy I am now in the right place for me. The staff is wonderful too!

Very unfortunate about the scheduling department. I was relayed a wrong appointment time after I was scheduled with the wrong provider. Tried calling twice today in the morning before my appointment to verify my time and couldn’t reach anyone. At least I could pick up the new patient packet which I didn’t get in the mail.

Admin specifically Steph not willing to work with professionalism regarding urgent refill issues. Would suggest a different KHN site

I have not found her treatment to be satisfactory when I've seen her for pain treatment. I recently saw her for severe sciatic nerve pain and from the information I gleaned at that appointment she thought I would be able to return to work the next day. I was in such excruciating pain. I was given muscle relaxers and steroids which I know is a regular course of treatment. The pain did not improve. I was seen for continued pain and a concern about calf pain by her NP. She said waiting 7 to 10 days until further tests were done and since my pain seemed to be decreasing it was a good sign. An x ray ordered came back fine. Pain worsened especially in my calf and the doctor ordered an ultrasound. After a good test result, I messaged her again letting her know I was unable to work and do only simple self care and pain had increased. She said she could refer me to physical therapy. I thought this was weird she didn't order an MRI. Ended up having to go to the ER in excruciating pain crying and screaming. I had experienced similar pain before following my first visit, but since the doctor seemed to have bailed on me, I decided to try the ER this time. I found out I had a herniated disc. I was given muscle relaxers ativan and steroids. I was referred to a neurosurgeon and am setting up an appointment now. I was given painkillers to use until the appointment could be scheduled. Every time I have seen her about pain issues she has seemed dismissive. She didn't ask me about my level of pain or explain the process she would follow in dealing with my pain.

I am very happy with Dr. Mason Zied. I have been seeing her for a few years and she has treated me with such respect. She has seen me in hard times as well as good. She is a doctor who listens to you and has compassion and understanding. I refuse to switch doctors.

Dr. Mason-Zied really gives the patient her attention, listens and asks questions to make sure she's clearly understanding the patient's concerns. She's sweet and kind, with a genuine concern for her patients. My only quibble with her is that two doctors she's referred me to turned out not to be good choices. I don't know if she was just unfamiliar with them and picked them from a list or what. I have since learned how to research doctors online and choose my own based on their ratings and things written about them. Dr. Mason-Zied tries to make things as easy for her patients as possible through the use of the Patient Portal and its messaging service. I like having the ability to get answers to my questions without feeling like I'm interrupting something.

Caring physician who takes time to listen and respond to individual needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mason-Zied’s for nine years and throughout that time have been provided with excellent care. She is a Doctor who truly listens to what you are saying and takes your views into account when making recommendations. She always explain things clearly, reviewing test reports and data ad turning her computer screen around to show what she is reading when going over results to make sure that they are understood. I have never felt rushed at any appointment and she always answers my questions.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mason-Zied for many years. I find her to be warm and caring. She listens carefully and manages my health care with amazing accuracy using the newest technology including genetic testing. I have total trust in her. Her staff is always friendly and caring and my wait times are always minimal. As a nurse I am very picky about choosing a primary care doctor. She is one of the best.
