Make sure if you’re the POA to let the office know and change phone numbers in their system. I was turned away with my elderly parents after I never cancelled either appointments I had made for my parents- they called the house phone to confirm appointment and allowed someone with dementia to cancel- do you know how hard it is to get a 90 year old with Alzheimer’s who can barely walk in and out of the house & car 3 times for an appointment that was never technically cancelled for him? They wouldn’t even fit him in for 5 mins after all that- they should be ashamed. I would find somewhere else if I were you- do not seem understanding, caring or compassionate- sorry not good enough
Made my parents comfortable! Was super professional but not beyond small talk! Took my dad’s toe pain away immediately! Took time to understand the needs of my dad! Awesome doctor and a good person!
Dr. Weimken is wonderful. He cared for my parents for years, even coming to the house once when my elderly dad was laid up with a broken ankle. They are gone now but he continues to care for my two sisters, myself and my husband.
Office is clean, staff friendly and efficient. Dr Wiemken is professional and personable. He always fixes me up when my feet need help. I highly recommend !!
Went to Dr. Wiemken because of calluses. He tried scraping them off to no avail but told me there was a surgery for this. Worst decision of my life! Came back to see him whenever he told me to for follow ups. Everytime I would go back and told him I was in pain he would give me pills and tell me to come back. So I did this numerous times and finally asked him when this should be healed. He said oh about 6 weeks ago! Seriously? I IMMEDIATELY went to the ER and they took me into surgery RIGHT THEN AND THERE. Turned out I had MRSA and spent a week in the hospital and 6 months on my couch at home with nursing care. I had to give myself injections 3 times a day! I was told I was so extremely lucky because I could have easily lost part of my foot! After my recovery, I went back to the office to show him pictures. The ONLY thing he said to me is looks like you could have lost part of your foot! No apology, NOTHING! I walked out telling the girl I wouldn't be back. Said she didnt blame me.
Been seeing him for years through pregnancy foot issues and now foot problems due to running. He listens and understands. Always able to address and treat my foot problems. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Wiemken. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I went to Dr Wiemken about 9 years ago for a bunion surgery and I didn't realize that really needed to be done by a orthopedic surgeon and not a Podiatrist. My foot is way worse today than before he started. I will never make this mistake again. He made a complete mess of my right foot. Don Valley City Ohio 04/29/2019
Excelent
I had an unfortunate foot injury over the holiday weekend and needed to be seen asap. The front office ladies were wonderful in helping create a spot to be seen. Dr. Wiemken was so kind, efficient and empathetic. He quickly diagnosed the torn plantar fascia and helped create a plan to get back on the mend!
The doctor knew what my condition was but prescribed what works for most patients but it did not help my condition

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
