I have been only been with Courtney Brumfield for a few months. She really helps me sort through my thoughts . Then she let's me know what she thinks because I don't look at everything.. She has helped me out of those dark holes that I experienced prior seeing her. My other n.p. Just kept changing my medicine and I had to wait and see him every 3 months. She is very helpful and I feel so much better and happier.
They seem to not know how to answer the phones do not respond unless you calling me sad
I make appointments over the phone, not the website. I’ve always had a good experience.
I was forced to pay close to $600 before my insurance was submitted. My insurance paid most of that bill amount. I have been calling LifeStance's billing department for 10 months asking for reimbursement of my overpayment, over $500 . I was told in September that I would receive a check from them in 2-3 months. It's now almost at the end of January. This money could easily be forgotten about. It is going on one year since the medical appointment with them, and they still owe me my overpayment. They need to be reported for taking people's money then billing insurance companies, but they never give refunds to the insured. They are stealing people's overpayment then give us the run-around to give refunds. They hope that people forget about this double payment Shame on LifeStance. You are thieves
I don’t know where to begin. This place lacks professionalism and accountability on every level. I was surprised to see it rated so highly, then receiving such poor service and communication. To begin, it is near impossible to get ahold of anyone at the actual location you are attempting to schedule an appointment with. You are clearly talking to a call center of some sort when you schedule. The person putting in my information put in incorrect info. multiple times. When I went to check in for my appointment they wanted me to verify information, and that’s when I realized half my info. which was entered was actually incorrect! I wanted an in-person appointment. I waited over 6 weeks for my appointment. On the day I was supposed to have an appointment they call me with less than an hour from my scheduled time. They leave a voicemail and state the provider is unable to make it to the office and has enrolled me in a virtual appointment and to call them back. I attempt to call them back at the number provided, going through multiple prompts before being transferred. I wait on hold for someone to actually answer the phone for 17 minutes and 24 seconds before someone picks up. Finally, I speak with someone and tell state that “typically when a provider cannot make it to an office it is because of an illness”. I had to take time off work, wait over 6 weeks for an appointment, wait over 16 minutes to talk to someone. I completely understand that everyone gets sick. They couldn’t have called or sent an email the night before? The morning of the appointment? Within one hour of my appointment time is absolutely ridiculous. YET, let’s not forget that patients have a 48 hour window to cancel an appointment, or else they still get charged for the visit. I understand this because I’m sure many people make appointments and no call/no show. However, there is no consideration for a patients time or being paid for their work when they take off to make an appointment. Who is going to pay me for my time missed at work? They also enrolled me in a virtual appointment for the same day and time that I had an in-person appointment scheduled. It seems like they just book in-person appointments and try to get everyone to take a virtual appointment. Then I get told well we can cancel the appointment on YOUR behalf if you would like. I did not cancel the appointment, they cancelled the appointment!! This place lacks communication and accessibility for patients. For people already seeking help that could involve a variety of issues in life, this is the absolute last place I would look. Just another large company to make a quick dollar. Find a smaller place that actually cares about their patients.
My first visit with DARYN HUNT was awesome unlimited stars and also AMBER L was awesome unlimited THANKS TO BOTH of them
LOVE my NP, Charlotte Steerman. She is kind, understanding, and a great listener. The LifeStance website leaves something to be desired- it’s not entirely user friendly, and making appointments on the site just never works for me. But I like my practitioner so much it doesn’t deter me.
It was so life-affirming and friendly. Something I've needed for awhile. A great therapist!
Today was my first day going to therapy and I like it so far. It was a pleasure meeting abd speaking with Sam
Courtney Brumfield is the WORST!!!! Terrible patient care. She terminated services with my oldest son via certified letter for 1 missed appointment that he nor I were even aware existed. My son has severe depression and is on medication. How can she be so heartless?? I would think someone in the field of mental health would display compassion and understanding. My youngest son has debilitating OCD and needs his medication. Courtney increased my son’s medication dosage and then canceled his follow up appointment. I never heard from the office to reschedule. They stated that it’s my responsibility. While I understand that, I’d think a prescriber who cares might check up on a patient especially if the prescriber is the one who canceled the follow up. I called to reschedule 11 days prior to my son’s medication running out. I couldn’t get an appointment until weeks after he would be out of medication. Courtney was aware of this and offered no guidance or assistance. Yesterday I left work and my son left summer school early for his scheduled appointment with Courtney. When we arrived we were told that Courtney had terminated services with my son. No notice was given whatsoever! I lost out on 2 hours of work and my son lost an hour of school. And on top of that, my son is without medication that he needs. My sons have seen wonderful, caring therapists at lifestance. I want to make it very clear that I’d give the therapists a 5 star, but Courtney I’d give a 0 star if that option existed. She is obviously all about business and does not care about her patients. It’s been a very upsetting and disappointing experience. I’m a single mom with 2 sons that have mental health issues. Now it’s back to square one. She didn’t even have the decency to provide options for follow up care. Very disheartening.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
