Daniel S Murtagh's Online Review Report Card

I found Dr Murtagh for my 83 year old mom because of his health grades rating. My mom has been seeing him for about 4 month and she loves him and I just met him this morning before he did surgery on her and he was very nice and assuring. I really like him and would highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Daniel Murtagh, Sr., has been my Urologist of choice for the last several years. Not only is he a skilled and knowledgeable physician but he exudes professionalism. From his professional appearance, his one on one open patient communication to his outstanding team I have never felt more confident in a physician as I do with Dr. Murtagh. His patient care includes leaving no diagnosis to chance always erring on the side of caution when it comes to my urological health and overall well-being. I have literally placed my life in his skilled hands and the hands of his outstanding nursing professionals. I recommend Dr. Murtagh Sr. without reservation.

My husband was diagnosed with kidney stones .He went to have surgery they did an xray(which the dr said didnt show the stone ) ...but he did the surgery ANYWAYS! ...No stones were found So my husband went through surgery..hes diebetic ..has high blood pressure ..not to mention the pain after wards .The Dr never even apologized for doing an unnecessary surgery ..Which we ended up owing 700 dollars for an unnecessary surgery..which in my opinion Dr Murtach should pay The Drs officeNEVER even called to see how my husbandwas ..to make a follow up after surgery!!NOTHING !!... Incompetence at it's best.!

The Dr is only as good as his office staff. It's my understanding the front desk person was suppose to call my father a year ago, and did not. He has cancer that should have been taken care of months ago. He has asked for a printout of his visit, and she refuses. He's wanted to make appointments and her response is "we'll call you when we want to see you". He needed an appointment, she never called to schedule. My mom asked for information and this same person told her "if you would come to his visits, you'd know what is going on. The dr. never referred my dad to oncology. He's behind on treatment for his cancer because of the incompetence of this office

Dr Murtagh did a wonderful job with my vasectomy. He explained everything before he proceeded and kept a conversation with me through the surgery. Everything was painless and stress free. Office staff was wonderful as well. Thank you all for making me feel comfortable.

Dr. Murtaugh has literally saved my life. After being hospitalized three times with urinary tract infections/sepsis over the last fifteen years, I went to Dr. Murtaugh. After in depth testing, I had surgery several years ago for an enlarged prostate. It is amazing the quality of life that I now have!

After having been to several Doctors he has solved the problem. A friend who is a nurse recommended. I will hopefully not have to take antibiotics several times a year.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Murtagh and his staff. From the moment I walked into his office he got right to business. He explained everything clearly and professionally. The hospital staff was friendly and helped me to feel comfortable. Most importantly he did and excellent job from beginning to end.

I was very pleased with Dr. Murtagh and extremely impressed with the staff, especially Jessica.. Can't get much better care than I received at the Bryan, Ohio hospital office.

He has no bedside manner for new patients. Seeking a different Urologist.
