First off Dr. Barlekamp is an amazing doctor... I am writing this review because I was told by his office staff that I have to find a new doctor due to not having a wellness visit for 3 years. I did not know that and understand that there is a time limit now. My complaint is that he has been re-filling my migraine meds for 3 years without a wellness visit that I did not know I had to have. I asked if someone or myself could talk to him to ask for an exception being I have been a patient for over 10 years and he has been filling my prescriptions. I was told no, that no one will ask him and since he is not accepting new patients and I am not considered an active patient then I will have to find a new doctor. I would think that most doctor offices would send something to their patients saying we need to see you before this date or you are no longer our patient. I was told they do not do that either. I really hope that he somehow reads this and understands how his office is treating his patients. Like I said...he is a wonderful doctor who has been great to me and I am really upset about this.... Dr. Barlekamp is caring, thorough, and an outstanding clinician. Have been seeing him for 8 years and he has been tremendous. 5/5 doesn't say enough.

I'm simply amazed by this one of a kind Doctor. Dr. Barlekamp was so amazing to me and my Mother during her passing at Ebeid Hospice. He was so attentive to my concerns and questions and gave her the most peaceful, pain free passing he possibly could . Great, caring man. We need more like him in the world. He even showed up at the memorial service and passed on some very kind words to me. A+++ Doc in every aspect!

The office staff are incompetent and the office is very poorly managed. They never do what they say they are going to do with regarding to phone calls, following up, etc. and you have to hold their hand through everything because you CANNOT trust the office to do their job!!!
