I see the heart doctor once a year. After seeing this one for the first time. I had a lower than normal BP. Also she noticed that my cholesterol level was high from a previous visit with my family doctor and wanted me to do the following.... 1 cut my BP meds in half. 2 take a medicine that is a injection every two weeks that only costs $493 each. I am already scheduled to see my family physician in 2 weeks of the appointment. This is for blood work to see if my cholesterol and other panels are within the normal ranges. I had my BP taken today at another doctor appointment and it was 122 over 78. Now why would a doctor want to change my med as well as prescribing a medication that I couldn't afford even if I wasn't retired. Not happy with this visit.

Dr. DeBenedetti is a thorough and knowledgeable cardiologist. Her office is pristine in terms of Covid-19 fears for older patients like me. She is personable and gets to know you as she puts you at ease. She even remembered our conversation from a previous visit! I have nothing but things to say about Dr. DeBenedetti.

My husband Robert was the patient seen by Dr. DeBenedetti. He was very impressed with her! She knew his history and was very thorough in the examination. Would recommend her to others.

Dr. DeBenedetti took the time and explained things to me thoroughly so I was able to get a clear picture of my overall heart health. Even though I am a nurse, I do not work with the heart and she never made me feel like I should know the answers to my questions.
