Mohammed S Alo's Online Review Report Card

I listened to this doctor give a talk at a recent medical conference in Arizona and was blown away by his subject matter knowledge, enthusiasm, charisma, personality, and speaking style. After it was all said and done, I had been sitting there for 3+ hours listening to him talk about weight loss, diet, fitness, exercise research and studies and how to apply them. I was blown away. I feel like I have a PhD in fitness and weight loss now. Totally changed the way I talk to my patients about weight loss. I used to tell them things that, looking back, made no sense. Now that I know a ton more, I totally changed my messaging and my patients are getting results. Finally after 50 years of trying to get my patients to lose weight, they are now actually losing weight. Loven Dr Barker

Ran into this doctor while on vacation in South Carolina and he was the most gracious and kind physician I ever met despite my husband being a total ___hole and douchebag towards him and all doctors. My husband works in IT and was going on and on about how stupid doctors are, especially cardiologists, when he found out this guy was a cardiologist. I had no idea who he was, never even said his name. I did a lot of googling and triangulation until I finally found him to leave a review. I felt I just had to write a review after he endured my husband's horrible attitude and behavior and how classy and gracious he was. I'm super impressed. Most doctors would be rude or just write him off and patronize him. But he talked to him calmly and discussed the issues with him. A total knockout of a human being!

I've been working in healthcare in Toledo for the last 10 years and this is the only physician in Toledo that hasn't been inappropriate with me and my friends. We were talking about this over drinks the other day and just thought it was odd. Have to give him credit though so this is the only way to do it and stay anonymous. Impeccable character and professionalism.

Agree with everyone else! Extraordinary! Absolutely extraordinary. I thought I knew what amazing doctors were like, boy was I wrong. Dr Alo surpasses every other doctor I've ever met. He calls house patients personally to give them updates and see how they are doing. He doesn't wait for you to call and ask about results. And he is incredibly kind and compassionate. You can feel the love he has for his patients and his job. Love Dr Alo like a brother!

I was walking behind this doctor and I saw him pick up a piece of trash on the floor of the hospital. He eventually found a trash can and threw it away. I'm super impressed. I shared the story with someone else and she told me she's seen him do other similar acts of kindness and compassion that no one would ever see. Fixing a toilet, wiping horse manure off the exam room floor, buying lunch for his staff and other random people in line behind him, all kinds of things you'll never hear or read about. Even helping move, turn, and clean patients. I did eventually take my mother to see him, and he is the kindest, most compassionate, down to earth doctor I've ever met. I wish all doctors were even 1% like Dr Alo.

Now I know the difference between an ordinary doctor and an exceptional doctor. I truly mean that. I have lived 87 years on this beautiful earth and have been to some of the best doctors in this great country of ours. Some of them have become lifelong friends and confidants. With that all said.... I have never met a physician like doctor Alo. He is heads and shoulders above. When I needed him in the ICU out in the middle of no where, he drove over an hour to come out and take care of me. He wasn't even supposed to be working that night. I didn't even have anything life threatening. I was in the ICU in the middle of farm country and he left his family and came out to take care of me. When he arrived, the staff were shocked, because he was actually on vacation that week. It was 10:34PM, on a weekday, while on vacation. I'll never forget the date and time. This amazing man shows up to just say hello and make sure I am ok. He gave them a few orders, did a special IV line on me, and then left... asking for nothing in return. No acknowledgment of greatness, not waiting for a thank you, not even like he went out of his way or was doing me a favor. I only knew because the nurses told me. I thought he was an in house doctor. I am here today because of Dr Alo! I found this out later. I have never written an online review ever in 87 years. This is the first one. When someone does this, in this day and age, you have to let the world know! If this is what he did for me, I can only imagine what he does with his patients that he actually knows. I just love this doctor. God bless you doctor Alo! Please teach other physicians to be like you! That personal touch is missing in today's medicine and healthcare. You are a GREAT one! Please keep up the great work and don't every change!

Really enjoyed Dr. Alo. He has taken very good care of me. I wish he had office hours closer to Toledo. But I am willing to drive the 1+ hours to see him. Thank God for video medical visits. If you can't get in to see him, you can request a video conference that is close enough. Meryy Christmas!

Absolutely loved this doctor and staff. Won't see anyone else. Very friendly and informative. Very polite. Knows his stuff. Explains everything. Doesn't order hundreds of tests.

Best doctor I have ever seen. Bedside manner is the best. Sits down and talks to you. Is not rushed. Explains everything. Talks to you like a friend. All my friends and family switched to him. Great staff and office as well.

Absolutely love this physician! My entire family goes to him and we don't like doctors! Lol! He talks to us like normal people. Like friends! His knowledge level is incredible. He explains things that are very complex in very simple ways. He's also very friendly and personable. Could see myself having drinks with him and hanging out. Very down to earth. Didn't treat me like a number. I was a friend. Just loved him and his entire staff! Hope he sticks around! The good ones usually leave!
