James Lapolla's Online Review Report Card

Their billing department sent me a bill over a year after my appointment. I had two different coverages at the time but they only billed one. I talked with the woman at the billing service. She said that she has up to a year to bill me. I told her that I usually get a bill from other physicians within four to six weeks. She could care less. A year is unacceptable to bill a patient.

Dr.LaPolla has been treating my husband and I for over 20 years. He has always been knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He offers various forms of treatment for those that want to avoid surgery. Yet, when surgery is needed, he is the BEST! Highly recommend.

Another Doctor that deletes all his negative reviews. This doctor and his establishment are very Lackadaisical. They do not take Gangrene seriously and will take their good time to treat it ultimately loosing a foot because of their lack of commitment to a patient and this includes the entire staff. Even a few Doctors Cringe when they here his name. Shame on this Doctor and the Staff at both locations for being lazy and not taking the health of a patient serious.

Had lapiplasty done 4 months ago and still can't put a shoe on, I'm still in my walking boot. Can't move my toes or bend my foot. Definitely not as described in brochure. Wish hadn't went with this doctor, going to another doctor to fix my foot even if possible.

We recently moved back to the area. My husband Bill Clark needed maintenance care by a podiatrist. He had his second visit with Dr.Lapolla a 2nd chance and there will be no third. My husband has an open wound on the third toe of the foot he had surgery on 2 yrs ago. Time spent with patient 45seconds. Long enough to cut his nails and turn the doorknob. I am Bill Clark's wife and as a medical professional we're taught it's bad taste to make negative comments about another in the profession but when blatant neglect in patient care occurs I feel a responsibility to my conscience and profession. My husband is a diabetic with a history of extensive surgery including a metatarsal and heel fusion. He suffered complications of gangrene during healing and with quality woundcare his foot was saved. What was this Dr thinking when he looked at that foot and toe cause it certainly didn't include patient care. I made a call to another Podiatrist in the area which upon hearing my husbands medical history made an appointment for him to be seen right away even though they've never seen him before. Please look elsewhere for quality podiatry.

I had Lapiplasty on my right foot by Dr Lapolla. He had to do extensive work and was through and took the time to answer my questions. If the appointments are running behind, it is because he takes his time with the patient. He staff are very caring also.

Shame on this Doctor and the entire staff for being Lackadaisical and not taking the health of a patient serious. They don’t even take Gangrene serious and will string you along until it needs cut off. There excuse from the staff is they are a busy place and things get pushed back. The care received from this establishment is not acceptable and absolutely ridiculous. Seriously get out of the medical field if you think it’s okay to prolong an infection from being taken care of properly. No patient should ever have to deal with such a irresponsible Doctor or Staff.

I had 3D bunion surgery. Dr. Lapolla did a great job. I am very happy with the outcome. I do recommend him if you need to have this procedure done.

I personally feel this office wasted my time and money. they always do one thing then schedule you months out for something else that should of been done that day I had appointment for tooth extraction and ended up getting cavity filled instead. upon leaving i expressed my concern of why I wasnt getting my wisdom tooth pulled the receptionist stated the doctor doesnt have time. like really. so after getting in the car I called in to try to finish up and the receptionist said everyone left for lunch. im so angry and on top of that half my face is numb

I have always gotten good care from Dr Lapolla. Best Dr hands down!
