Dr Elrod is the best surgeon around, he really cares about his patients. Takes time with you to discuss the issues and your options. His office staff are the best group of people I’ve had to deal with in a doctors office. If you have a issue and might be needing surgery please give Dr Elrod a try.

For months, I had every test done under the sun to figure out why I was having right upper abdominal pain. I was told by GI docs that I had IBS. I saw Dr. Elrod and he informed me about a rare gallbladder disorder called hyperactive gallbladder (Ejection Fraction over 80%) I went through with the surgery and sure enough, pathology confirmed gallbladder inflammation. I am now 6 weeks post op and am pain free, my incisions are great, and have had zero complications. Highly recommend. Bed side manner is phenomenal. Hard to find a surgeon that doesn't want to cut unless it's last resort! Only surgeon I will ever go to again. Thanks for everything!

One of the Best doctor/surgeon experiences! Dr Elrod is kind and compassionate. He took great care to explain my diagnosis, surgery, and options. He was very responsive to followup questions and concerns; his expertise and experience helped me, and my husband, to feel at ease during a stressful time. His office staff and assistants are excellent as well.

Dr. Elrod is the consummate professional surgeon, who also demonstrates incredible compassion in all he does. Dr. Elrod performed my sigmoid colectomy with such excellent skill that my recovery was positively enhanced by that and his consistent attention to post-op check-ups while in the hospital and in office visits. His listening ways and his humble approach made the entire difficult process easier to navigate. I recommend this top surgeon to anyone who may be facing a serious surgery as I did. His entire staff is outstanding and kind. There is such a collaborative feel to this surgeon’s team. I can’t say enough to capture what a wonderful experience I had in this very difficult procedure. Very personable, professional and kind. He explained everything and wasn't rushed. Great Surgeon from my/my son's experience during my son's appendicitis/appendectomy surgery. Very glad he was on call that day :)

Highly recommend Dr. Elrod and his skilled, compassionate staff. Cancer is one of the scariest things that's ever happened to me, but Dr. Elrod and his team gave me great medical advice, an excellent surgical procedure, and overall terrific care, all for a more than reasonable cost. Hopefully I won't ever have cancer again but if I ever need any more surgery, I would not hesitate to hire Dr. Elrod again.
