List of MIchelle M. Russell's Reviews
Dr. Russell and her staff has been very easy and professional to work with. I have recommended them to others.
I went to see her for stomach pain that had escalated to a point where I could no longer ignore it. She was rude, rushed me out as quick as she could, and shrugged off any concerns I had. Dr. Russell, when someone is in pain, you should not tell them that "it could just be ibs or something. Im not sure, we'll just send you to a GI." I'm not sure if she just felt I wasn't as important because I was on medicare, or if she thought I was trying to push for opiates, but I genuinely have never felt so unheard and unseen. Her flippant and nonchalant behavior about the intense stabbing pain I have been feeling, that literally causes me to pass out at work, is utterly unacceptable. I really hope you find some compassion and understanding for people instead of writing them off. I'm glad other patients have not had to deal with this behavior.
Doc is very caring and to the point. You can be yourself with her. Honesty goes a long way with a doctor and she is the only doctor I have never hid anything from.
I've gone to Dr Russell for 20 years. She's a very caring, thorough doctor, who educates you, and makes you a part of your own care. I trust her implicitly.
I am a healthcare professional & provider since 1999 I have been going to Dr Russell for 5 yrs. I started going to her in 2015. I skipped 2 yrs ( 2017 was due to insurance restriction in 2019 was due to her relocation out of Bellbrook) I returned to her in January 2020 I feel the entire process at her new location is about profit not cure. Of course I had health issues as a result of testing that required RX and a reaction from the RX required followups. There were delays in communication, etc. I feel I was discriminated against due to the ACA insurance I carry on numerous occasions. I even referred friends & family to Dr Russell and their feedback to me was negative. My sister will never go back to her and she is a PSYD.
She was thorough, courteous and to the point! I usually see someone else at her practice and she was unavailable. I would go to Dr. Russell again in a heartbeat!
Office workers are rude.
Dr. Russell has saved my life twice. She listened to me, sent me for tests and caught my cancers (Breast and Kidney) early. Although she got lucky on the kidney. :) My gall bladder was the culprit for the test that found it but I will give her credit for sending me for the ultra sound. :) I have been seeing her for more years than I can count I refer all my friends and relatives to her. She is straight forward but she actual listens to you.
Dr. Russell is both the best and worst doctor I've ever seen. She is the best in terms of her thoroughness, her diagnostic skills, her knowledge, and willingness to take time to listen to her patients. She is the worst in terms of "bedside manner." For all her medical skills, her social skills are sorely lacking. If you're looking for warm and fuzzy, she is not for you. If you're looking for a thorough, expert family doc, you won't find better
I was very very disappointed with Dr . Russell she was very rude to me and smart with me for no reason I won’t be going back to her ever , that’s like the 3rd doctor I have seen in the Sugarcreek office and I won’t be going back all of them but one was terrible but overall very shocked of how I was treated by Dr . Russell

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
