List of Adena Urgent Care- Waverly's Reviews
Had to go to pike hill because your lad is not open on Sunday. Then had to wait because they are understaffed! Next time I’ll go to SOMC ! Waiting over an hour after fasting. Sugar lowering.
went to urgent care for sinus infection ,had a doctor that did not listen and threatened me . Unnecessary testing and now I owe 800. 00 bucks. Alot of money for antibiotics
Doctors are always rude and have an attitude with me. They never figure it out and always say just rest or take ibuprofen.... don't go here you're better off to not waste your money on them... doctors and nurses here need reevaluated....
I took my daughter here for what turned out to be "Hells Itch" from tanning. The doctor was really rude and acted like she was just wanting to skip school. She said "and you missed school for this?!" And kind of laughed. I then asked her if she started itching again the next night to where she wasnt able to sleep again- - she cut me off and laughed and said, "yes she can go to school tomorrow!".... I was like, ".. we'd è.noooo. what can I give her to help her get some sleep?" Her response was ibuprofen. So I gave my daughter the maximum dose of ibuprofen, and brought her home where she continued to scratch her skin until there was blood. The only relief she got, was spending the entire day in the bathtub. And she was still miserable until I gave her enough benadryl to knock her out for the night. I called her doctor this morning, who could not get her in, but said if topical creams and ibuprofen didnt help, it was not a typical sunburn and she needed to be seen again and to take her back to urgent care. So I called in to see if JSanders (the lady that did not take her serious yesterday) was still working and the lady said she couldn't give out that information. I asked if she could tell me if the same lady that saw my daughter yesterday was there again today. Her response "umm I don't know" like it was some kind of game we were playing. This has not been my first bad experience with this same lady, who I now call Dr. Pike Co. My first near throat-punch-someone experience came when I took my son in for a swollen/infected tick bite. I asked her to test him for lyme disease and she said it wasnt lyme bc there was no bullseye rash. I told her about how my husband has lyme and he never got the bullseye rash. And how he has gone through SO much with it so its important to us that our son get tested for it so it could be caught early... and seeing how nasty it looked, we were extra concerned... She said "no, I'm not testing him for it" really calm and matter of fact. I had my husband on the phone and told him what she said. He wanted to talk to her about it (nobody was raising voices, everyone was calm) she got agitated and stomped out of the room like a 2 year old, saying "I'm not talking to him, its not lyme!" It was ridiculous that she would not even order the test.
Today I had came in from having poison sumac for 2 weeks now cause I had it came got token care of just seemed to be getting worse and worse. My face started swell so I was like I need go and I tell you dr.Kelly hill was best dang doctor I’ve ever had he was so nice and explained everything in detail including answering all questions but one thing that stood out to me is he respect people pronouns my man had also came get checked for same thing he looked at him said what would you like be called and he told him said I’m putting this in your chart so they know. I’ve never once in my life had doctor so nice and caring bout that but also the care he showed toward us. Also I’d like add in Melanie holsinger she was best dang nurse we had as well showed concerned asked all questions and was so nice . I’d like thank these two individually thank you guys so much and thank you adena medical center urgent care.
Waited in the waiting room for a while hour only 3 ppl here finally get to our room wait another hour to be seen it took 2 hours and 10 minutes all together to get my baby seen this is ridiculous
If you want good service go to a different urgent care. The nurse kept on interrupting me. 0/10 for the urgent care.
I’ve got extremely mixed feelings about this place. My primary care doctor that I’ve seen since 2015 is here and I love her… however for regular urgent care I cannot stand the place and would way rather go to SOMC. Very slow, and always rude. So for regular doctors checkups, great… urgent care, not so much.
the dr today was so ignorant .prescribed me a med i am highly allergic too. never again
Once again Adena continues to impress me :) I went here for some tests I needed done since my original OB office would not see me for it/take way too long to finally get an appointment and at Urgent Care I was in and out in less than an hour! My wait time wasn’t even 5 minutes! Everyone was so friendly to me from the staff checking me in, to all the nurses and medical providers! They even took the time to share helpful referrals to an OB at Adena instead since I wasn’t liking my one in Kettering! They also let me know I could call anytime which my old drs office would never allow! Here they made me feel at ease and that my health concerns were valid. I’m really glad to have found Adena and they clearly care about hiring attentive, supportive, and super sweet staff at all their locations! Thanks again! ❤️

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
