I was one of the caregivers that started when the company opened I had just left working at a longterm facility where you were over worked and under payed and there was not enough time to properly care for the patientsI met with Stephanie when she worked out of her home before she opened a building. She was pleasant and very nice, our personalities clicked the first day. I continued to work with her with many cases. She came to value my opinion due to all of my prior experience in the healthcare.I too came to love and respect her she was always fair to me and always had the patients welfare and safety first. Many of the families and patients grew to trust her and value her opinons. I know longer work for the company because I have moved on to a different type of employment due to family and personal priorities. I wish her and the company only good luck and much success and thank you for all that you do. Shirley Rogers

We needed home health care for my 87 year old mom after rehab. I live in the Virgin Islands and was unable to attend to her needs. Preferred Care was communicative, friendly and very very helpful. The aides took amazing care of my mother, going beyond what was required. They treated her more like a dear relative than a client, and made sure the house was clean, she ate nutritious meals, and had nice conversations with her. My mother loved them all.I cannot recommend Preferred Care at Home of Lorain County highly enough. I'd give them 10 stars if possible!

I am very impressed by the way the Saunders operate their home health care business! They choose their caretakers very carefully and do their best to match a caregiver with your families lifestyle!

Does not like to pay caregivers and puts you in bad situations. Judy you arecorrect in saying caregiver was sleeping but not on my shift.Your mother did not have a theft there either she apologized many times for false accusations and you should too..

Well my first red flag was told to me by one of the owners Kevin to remove all valuable items and check book from the home ! Which I never thought I'd have to remove my mother's rings from her hands. Which came up missing. This was my first experience with home health and what a bad experience it was. Now I have my mother mentioning to me about how her rings are gone. Had to file a police report. Heart breaking ! Please dont be a trusting person as I was ! They were great at having a staff member available. But not all the staff was good. One staff member slept while caring for my mother instead of helping. I had a hospice nurse stop in to check on my mom. Said the aide was sleeping when she got there and my mother answered the door. Other visitors called and told me the same thing .. Now after 3 months and police report filed. The company has the nerve to bill me for the horrible experience in January where the care giver slept instead of caring for my mother....PLEASE RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY

Applied over a month agoDrove 40 minutes to get there for a 2 min interview with Kellie Saunders!Got hired was told all I need to do is email my resume! Did all I was told to do. Nothing was done afterwards, no phone call nor text. I called every other day for two weeks. Someone else would answer and say they would give her the message and she'll call me back! Its been a month still nothing. Ive been a stna for several years and never had a problem landing a job! Dont have anything on bc! No type of record very qualified! I have a 2 year old to provide for now, and in the interview Kellie and I discussed that becase she had her child with her! Dont understand what went wrong and why I wasnt informed that i wouldnt be employed with them. Communication is key! If you didnt want me to work there say so, instead of me waiting to work to provide for my son! Thank you

I have worked with this company for going on 5 years now. The Saunders family are truly a remarkable group of people who believe family is everything. The care that they provide to clients and us employees is so heart warming. Avaliable always & very accommodating to any needs you have. Great company to be a part of.
