Barrington Of West Chester's Online Review Report Card

Honestly would've given it zero stars this place is terrible all together as a whole management sucks especially when it comes to the dining room management they claim to be hiring all the time and in need of people but are firing hard-working reliable workers. The way these managers treat people is not right and they get away with it, it's crazy to me but you know all I can do now is leave a review in hopes of other people seeing it and being warned before they get involved in this business.

What a great place for my Dad to now call home. The team here is second to none, the atmosphere is incredible, he is amazed with the quality of the meals, and he is so happy now that he is here.

My in-laws are now COVID restricted to their rooms in the Barrington. Today, they received lunch that was a hot dog and potato chips. That's it. I understand being understaffed and having to close the dining room, but I do NOT understand why the director of food service has never responded to my husband about the quality and nutritional value of the food served there. This is not the first time we have had concerns about the menu meeting the nutritional needs of the residents.

The people and staff are the best, super friendly and helpful. Thank you for keeping my Mom feeling safe and comfortable. The facility is very clean and the halls are brightly lit for walking, my Mom loves getting her exercise. Added bonus, they always have the best decorations for the various holidays, makes it a cheerful place.

Choosing The Barrington at West Chester was the best decision we’ve made for our mother. She was so well cared for and truly loved by all the staff. They were like family to her and it made us so happy to know how much they cared. My mom passed away yesterday surrounded by her daughters-and her “adopted” staff daughters at The Barrington. It was so beautiful and heartwarming to have the staff who loved and cared for her there in her final days and minutes. Many thanks and much love to all of them. And kudos to Stephanie, the Executive Director, who leads by example. Highly recommend

I have recently placed 2 clients at this incredible community and cannot say enough about about how they have exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful community, but the way the staff treat the residents and each other is what makes it a stand out.Every person goes above and beyond to ensure that you feel welcome.I walk away with a sigh of relief each time because I’m confident that my clients’ quality of life is better than they ever could imagine and their caregivers can sleep again.

If you are looking for a senior living facility for yourself or a loved one to age gracefully, I highly recommend the Barrington of West Chester. My parents have lived there for 3 years. The facility is beautiful and well maintained, and the food is good. The team of people working there (management, chef and dining room staff, housekeepers, nursing staff, front desk receptionists, activities, transportation) are all very professional, kind, and caring. They really become members of your family. This is one of the few facilities in the area where couples needing different levels of care can stay in the same apartment. A lot of facilities separate couples in this situation. And there are a variety of activities every day for resident to choose from. My father passed away last week, and in addition to the hospice professionals, the folks at the Barrington took amazing care of my parents and the rest of our family during a difficult time. Make sure you visit the Barrington before you make your decision.
