We walked in thinking my mother who has first stages of dementia was meeting a doctor for the first time he actually turned out to had worked with my mom 15 years ago remembered her knew all of her medical history from past in present was a wonderful experience to meet him he explained everything in a easy to understand way which is very helpful I give him a 10 out of 10 Thank you Doctor Merz my mother left with a smile 😊

Dr. Merz as always answers all my questions, addresses my concerns and offers suggestions and advice. I recently completed total knee reconstruction. My concern was the much more than usual pains in my back. He explained the need to retrain my body because it was accustom to my limp and posture prior to knee reconstruction. He explained the timeline and gave me suggestions on how to alleviate this pain.

Dr. Merz explained everything about my condition, treatment options, and follow up. He did not push any treatments and I feel like he understood my pain. I have had wonderful care at the Mayfield group for 10 years for different back/neck problems.

Since my first appointment I have had the upmost confidence in the competence and professionalism of the staff at Mayfield Brain and Spine Center in West Chester! Dr Merz , Debbie and Rachel took such great care of m for my physical therapy . Dr Merz is a straight shooter, telling you exactly what can be done to improve your life, what we can change and what cannot! He explained things very well and I appreciate the honesty. I would recommend this staff to anyone who is in need of back or spine care!
