I was in the hospital getting neck surgery. I needed additional migraine medicine to recover and this doctor called the pharmacy and told them not to fill my prescription. I had stay longer in the hospital and in increased misery and anxiety because of this doctor. Other times he makes me wait weeks to get my prescriptions,. that he could just have sent in electronically. and/or he will force me to go upTo his office and wait for him to my write the prescriptions. And I'm disabled!!!

Does not care about his patients, Tells his patients just anything that doesn’t even make sense. Takes way too long. And the receptionist is not very nice. There is no backstory or “other side” to my comments. I am extremely nice person and so is my husband we were always nice when we went in there and receptionist Usually shows a not so friendly attitude.

This doctor is a joke and certainly not health centered. My blood pressure was taken once out of the eight times I visited even though I have prehypertension. He informed me to get my own blood pressure cuff and check it myself. On one of the visits I complained of my ears itching and without looking at them told me to get swimmers ear drops and not keep my ears to clean. If you do end up going to this doctor make sure you have a 4 hour block of time to waste due to the incredibly long wait time to see him. The only reason I continued to go to him is the convenience of location and the ease of same day appointments. Now I know why it is so easy to make an appointment. He did partially help with a personal health situation where I needed some time off of work to recoup. He was helpful until I asked for an extension and at that time he made it seem as though he thought I was faking my illness. I ended up needing to take more time off and since he didn't approve it I didn't get paid. It was an incredible disappointment and I would not suggest him to my worst enemy. Go to someone who takes their job with pride and cares about your health.

My mom goes here and Dr. Garwood is awesome. He truly cares about his patients and he LISTENS. He has a great bedside manner and explains everything in understandable terms. She has never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to see him.

excellent doctor!!!! i have been to many drs who did not put me on right medicine and he knew immediately what to put me on and within a few days of taking it i was pain free.
