List of Syed Husain's Reviews
Dr. Husain did my husbands surgery for colorectal cancer in 2022 & 23 and he was stage 3 in the beginning. He is now cancer free after his radiation & chemo treatments before surgery and they said his tumor was gone according to his team of Dr.'s that were treating him at the time. He still had to have surgery to make sure they got it all. We can't thank Dr. Husain enough for his expertise in this field. Thank you again Dr. Husain and all your staff. You were very caring & understanding but to the point. Don't hesitate to have this Dr. on your side.
He has done two surgeries on my husband and he is a great and caring doctor. He explains everything so you can understand what is going on. We would recommend him to anyone .
Doctor Husain and his entire staff and wonderful, caring and professional people. From my fist visit through surgery to my release Doctor Husain was wonderful, easy to talk to and very concerned. If you are looking for a doctor you can't go wrong with doctor Husain and his staff. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU !!!!!
met with the doctor and all went well, or so I thought. Months later and we have never received even a phone call. When we called, they said the doctor has not had time to review the records, and then lied about when they received them. On two different phone calls to them! We cancelled all further appointments with him. He obviously does not care about his patients.
After being diagnosed with severe pan ulcerative colitis, it was clear that my colon needed to be removed before surgery became emergent. My GI in Dayton referred me to Dr. Husain at OSU. Dr. Husain is genuinely a very caring person and such a wonderful surgeon! I truly feel blessed to have had him as my colorectal surgeon! Always respectful and kind, but down to business. I would never wish for anyone to have a need for him, but if you do, rest assured you will be in great hands!
I had a partial colectomy to remove a malignant tumor in my colon almost 1 year ago. I can say that my bowel function is back to normal and everything feels brand new. No long-term side effects - very grateful to Dr Husain's team. Only thing is that he was really pushing the total colectomy and only let on about the partial option when I brought it up. Since I have Lynch Syndrome and was 24 at the time, he was really pushing that which I don't think was necessary at all.
HE was the best doctor i ever had to deal with took great care of me when i was very sick and took the time to make sure i understood everything would recommend he to anybody needing the best Thank you Dr. Husain for everything

Dr. Syed Husain was over an hour and 15 minutes late. A nurse and student had taken and entered information into his computer plus I had written a summary of what had transpired since my one and only appointment with Dr. Husain a little over a year before the present appointment. I had done this hoping to cut to the chase. He still seemed very scattered as to the nature of my appointment. . I had had a report sent to him by another doctor many weeks before the appointment but he was unable to locate it. The appointment served no purpose in my treatment. It was very clear that he had no idea who I was or why I was there before entering the room because he had not even glanced at my chart and had not read my note that I had prepared for him.. My insurance company should not pay for such a useless time with a doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
